Anybody watching “The First?”

We are watching this show on HULU.

 

Some of the scenes from space are just mind-blowing!

The human interaction is of interest to me.

The series concerns the weeks/ months leading up to the actual launch for a mission to Mars. It sounds pretty boring, I guess, but it is not.

Sean Penn (chosen as the commander of the mission) plays a dad broken by the toll the mission has taken on his family.

His story is really not the only pivotal point in the story.

I watched it.  It started out slow, but turned out to be good.  I enjoyed it.
