Anybody rewatching ROSEMARY & THYME?

[ Edited ]

I loved this years ago and decided to watch again.

Rosemary was a plant pathologist/horticultural lecturer while Laura Thyme was a former detective.

They teamed up to work in the gardening field and ended up solving murders along the way.

The show took special care to showcase plants or flowers in almost every scene.

I loved their gardening outfits. Laura often wore a linen jacket and or pants, complete with the requisite wrinkles. Each of their outfits was colorful, and topped off with usually a necklace of semi-precious stones, much like those from America West. I remember buying a necklace or two back then as an "ode" to the show.

It's on Britbox now.

I love that show.  I used to watch it on PBS every Sat night.  It doesn't come on anymore and I miss it.

I loved those women. Every time I do a free trial of BritBox, I watch everything I like in 7  days and then lose interest. Will try once more for R&T. Take for the post😇😇

I used to watch it every week also.  I bought the DVD's and have rewatched a few times.  The woman that plays Laura was in the second Harry Potter movie at the beginning playing his uncle's sister.

@KatieB   Ebay has the complete series for $26.75, brand new, free shipping.  I hadn't seen it but did buy the series due to reviews.  I have only watched one episode so far, but will this year.

I never heard of this but it looks charming and right up my alley!  I never heard of Britbox either??

It's definitely charming, @AngelPuppy1

It's smart and fun, while being pretty and even soothing.

Britbox is a streaming service. But as @mousiegirl pointed out, DVDs are available. I bought a set back in the day when the show was first running on PBS and the 3 season boxed set was cheaper on amazon.

If you have amazon Prime, I understand Britbox has a free 7 day trial you can get through Prime.

I guess I've heard of it, but never watched.

I do like the title.  Reminds me of the song.

'Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme'

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

That's the show's theme song, @ROMARY , a lovely instrumental by John Williams to accompany slow motion opening of flowers in a bouquet.
