A piece of wire can break off and get stuck the the food, which can then be ingested, and as the wire travels through the system, pokes through the intestine.
Moral of the story is DON'T USE WIRE BRUSHES ON GRILLS!
Or, if one is used, watch for symptoms, anf if you have sharp pains, demand that they do an x-ray to see if there is a piece of the wire brush inside.
Oh, I now know what to do for bot flies.
Smother the area with Vaseline, then cover with duct tape.
After a day or two, remove fly larvae with tweezers.
I think I wouldn't mind seeing a small selection of shows but don't want to chance viewing something disgusting that I'll think about at some later date. I quoted this particular post because I don't see how a wire from a barbecue brush falls into the category of parasites or organisms. Seems it should have been on a different show.
If someone can tell me which season and which episode was the one about the boy with valley fever I'd see that.
Season 3, episode 3 - "My Face Eating parasite" @puttypiesmom
