Re: Any guesses as to Time's Person of the year?

Unfortunately not so fond. But glad that we all are allowed our opinions.

I think that it will be youth activists as a group like last year's journalists ("The Guardians"), or just Greta Thunberg. Please don't reply with your opinion on either of those options, but that is my guess.

@Carmie   CIC already done.

Also:  Whoever mentioned #MeToo - also done.  Plus that movement has fizzled since it has been vocal in only certain instances, while letting others slide.

You can be titled person of the year more than once. Many people have won twice and Franklin D Roosevelt won three times.

All of those people of the year usually end up being someone I wouldn't pick.  I actually thought of Kanye and his sister-in-law Kylie J.

@Carmie   I realize that but right now it would start another round of faux outrage.

I actually think it would be a good choice but right now I'm voting Hong Kong especially seeing the students waving our flag.

It might be time for us all to take a step back and realize we are going to be ok.

Cannot say more.

Thank you for the extra info, though.
