Re: Any Vera Stanhope mystery fans?

[ Edited ]

Thanks to all, I figured it out—how to add BritBox subscription to my TV.

Looking forward to it!!

@pachutabelle @zitawins @JudyL + all who have BritBox:

I took a look at BritBox to see what is involved in a subscription.

It seems that it isn't as simple as I imagined.

Would I need some device in addition to the simple TV?

I just have a Samsung TV, no extra devices for recording.

(I don't want to watch Vera on my computer.)

If you have an available HDMI port on your TV and wifi in your house, you can get a Roku device or Amazon Firestick, both very small, inexpensive, and easy to install.

Either one will enable you to watch Britbox with a subscription on your TV.

  • I love that show, I've seen all 12 episodes.  That shirt is a hoot.  I'd love one like it.

Re: Any Vera Stanhope mystery fans?

I ran across Halifax Retribution.  I believe I've watched the first two episodes, back to back.

I'm going to look for the next episode, as I don't recall the night and time.  PBS

Anyway, very interesting/enjoyable, so far.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
