I've always been a Rob Lowe fan. Such a handsome guy.

Anyone remember "About last Night" with Demi Moore?  My favorite!

One of my faves too, loved Dan and Debbie. also starred Eliz Perkins and Jim Belushi. 1986, it was based on the play called S exual Perversity in Chicago written by David Mamet. . Remade in 2014 with same title and an all African Amer cast.

Lowe was also great on TV series Bros and sisters, and Code Black. And of course, West Wing.

Re: Any Rob Lowe Fans Here? His Series 9-1-1 Lone Star Premieres Sunday...

I really enjoyed the 1 season series he had with his sons a few years back on A&E called The Lowe Files.  They traveled around to different states investigating the paranormal and extraterrestrial.  What I really enjoyed about it was the relationship between the three of them, they seemed to have such a great father-sons relationship.

And I always thought the one son (on the right) looked like the love child of Rob Lowe and David Bowie (I think it's the eyes mostly).

The series is still available On Demand an on Amazon Prime.

I like him, think he's nice looking and a decent actor. That said, he seems to have more success as a 'guest star' than he does with series television. This particular vehicle doesn't interest me. Network TV has become inundated with too many versions of what are essentially the same shows.

Rob Lowe

Boy, he's led a charmed life.

Rob has one of the first sex tapes, in the history of ever, released

and other than a v.e.r.y small speed bump in his career, no one

even mentions it anymore.

Kim Kardashian, on the other hand, will be 85yrs old and

summarizing her successful life, people will say through

pursed lips, '...but her sex tape..!'

Sexism much?
Seriously, guys can get away w/ this stuff...women can't.

It's not Rob Lowe's fault and I'm happy he didn't spiral out of control

after his issues but I wish the Public would give women the same

consideration, that's all.

(Back to Regularly Scheduled Programming)

There might well be the male-female double standard thing going on but added to that is the fact that Rob already had a successful career. His didn't result from being caught on tape doing the wild thing... Kim, on the other hand, well, enough said...

Funny, yesterday he was trending on Twitter.

Apparently he went to one of the games & was seen

with a hat that just said 'NFL'...no team name, just 'NFL'.

Twitterverse had fun with it.

So generic.

There's quite a cast of characters in this show. You've got a:

-fireman with cancer who got that from the 9/11 attack in NYC, a 'city slicker' in Texas now

-broken hearted gay fireman who has an addiction problem

-Muslim firewoman

-religious cowboy with PTSD

-mixed race married couple, black woman is 9-1-1 dispatch operator who just happens to be married to that cowboy

-OCD fireman (that's what he appears to be to me anyway)

The only one I haven't yet figured out is the first responder woman (Liv Tyler).

Did I leave anyone else out?...LOL!

Oh well then, that more or less cinches it... Have grown weary of the contrived and yet mandatory cast/character mix of the 21st century's second and apparently third decades... The networks have become too predictable and formulaic...

Yes, the preponderance of obligatory super-minorities, almost turns this into a comedy. That I'm watching it also shows how much I like Rob Lowe lol.

As for "Michelle," the chief paramedic portrayed by Liv Tyler, there's nothing to figure out, really. Apparently, she's obsessed with bringing the man she suspects killed her sister to justice. When she was screaming and causing a commotion in front of his house, the exchange between her and the arresting officer suggested that it's a regular occurrence.
