Re: Ann Rice's Mayfair Witches?

@gertrudecloset

From what I read in some of the viewers' reviews of the show, many say the Tv series does not follow the books and that the show has done a very poor job at telling the story as it was written in the novels. I have not read the books so I really can't say.

I didn't like the TV series and quit watching after the 2nd episode.

@Desert Lily I found the show dragging also but think this last episode & the previews for the next one seem to have it finding it's way again, anyway I hope so.

Re: Ann Rice's Mayfair Witches?

@gertrudecloset   It's typically better to read the book(s) first.  Less confusion.

Ann Rice books do not fare well as a tv series or movie w/the exception of the updated version of  Interview With A Vampire

The movie version of Queen Of The D@mned was campy.

Stephen King's books do not fare well either as a tv movie or series w/the exception of Salem's Lot.
