IMO Aiden always was and always will be too good for Carrie.   She doesn't deserve him.

@Alter Ego I could be wrong but I think Carrie did visit Aidan at his farm and had plans to visit him. I wouldn't wait five years for him, if I met someone before than, well that's that. If I happen to be unattached in five years then we could get together.

@Jordan2

@Travone @Alter Ego @Indra @Shelbelle

I used to think this series (the original) was a sort of role model for myself... referring to attention the fashion and staying slim. Have not even bothered to lookup the new.

I agree. I think Mr. Big was perfect for her. Both are cut from the same cloth. I found her character far too shallow and immature for the age she was supposed to be.

The last I remember seeing Aidan, Carrie ran into him in the city one day with his dog and his baby. I assumed he had definitely moved on.

Watch final show of Season 2, found it ok and overall an improvement over season 1.  I just found it crazy that Aidan asked Carrie to wait 5 years for him and she agreed.  I get his priority is his children and he has one with issues but really she will wait for 5 years?  Glad Miranda seems to be moving on,  Charlotte seemed to move on too.  Let's hope Season 3 continutes to approve,

Craziest bit of writing.  He didn't just ask her to wait, he said i don't want to see you at all for five years.  Hit the road jack is what she should have told him.

Hope no one minds me popping up an old thread with new news…

Just saw a post that Sara Ramirez was reportedly fired from AJLT. Che simply no longer brought anything to the story (although she’s apparently spinning it as a political statement.) Maybe she could have been an interesting character had they not put her together with Miranda. But, I’m happy she’s gone - she just didnt fit in and should have only been a few episodes rather than 2 years.

When I googled to make sure this was reported in multiple places, I did see a headline that Ramirez may join Gilded Age. Did not double check that.
