I agree about Aidan, once again the bad writing and unrealistic writing for women in the 50's. Carrie really thinks Aidan will move up to her new New York apartment. He has a family that lives in rural Virginia on a farm. I hope with the renewal it will show a little more realistic items these women deal with along with some fun.

I just watched the last episode of the season. Samantha appears at the beginning of the episode, she doesn't really add to the plot, but I guess there were fans who wanted to see her, maybe it made them happy.

I enjoyed the finale. I love that Charlotte is regaining her own identity and that Miranda is starting to thrive again. There was also a very nice moment with Miranda and Steve. The Samantha appearance was short but sweet, and it was good to have her energy back. I wasn't surprised about Aidan (I doubt anyone was). Re: Carrie, I think it was made clear that her buying the new apartment may have begun with the idea of having a place for A and the boys, but was ultimately about her and moving forward. The last thing I wanted the writers to do was portray her as a weak woman who only made a big decision for a man. So glad she didn't run back to her old place when Aidan asked her to wait.

Watch final show of Season 2, found it ok and overall an improvement over season 1. I just found it crazy that Aidan asked Carrie to wait 5 years for him and she agreed. I get his priority is his children and he has one with issues but really she will wait for 5 years? Glad Miranda seems to be moving on, Charlotte seemed to move on too. Let's hope Season 3 continutes to approve,

Dont have HBO so I dont see it, but how old are Aidans boys supposed to be ? In the 2nd movie which was made in 2010, he told Carrie he has 3 sons, so they have to be getting older by now.

How do you any fix your lips even to suggest to someone that they should wait FIVE years for you? Then, why would the person hearing this even consider such an outlandish and unfair demand? This is where a couple mutually decides that given the situation it's time for each person to move on with their lives.
Also, how do you even know that the troubled teen son will not grow up to be a troubled adult who requires a parent's undivided attention that will extend beyond 5 years? So many questions that would signal to me that it's time to leave Aidan in my past as a fond memory.

@Shelbelle I read Aidan's boys are 20, 17, and 14 years old.
