@jellyBEAN   when we moved in, my daughter was around five and my son was one, we had settlement on his birthday.....I was pregnant with baby #3.


My daughter was excited and she wanted to use it as a stage, but she became creeped out and would not play back there.  My boys wouldn't either.

 

My kids didn't like the basement too much. It was not a good place to play.  It only had two small windows and was dark.  It wasn't really a place where anyone wanted to hang out in.  

My kids always called it the stage, but they wouldn't play up there.

 

When we moved in, I thought maybe it was a play area for kids, but after a while, I doubted it. It was also located in a place where it would have been difficult to pour concrete from the outside.
