This special is on tonight at 9:00 on PBS. I thought I would post it for all you Charley Pride fans. I'm not into country music, so I won't be watching.

@Jordan2 Thank you for posting. I always loved Charley Pride. It took me a while to find out what station was PBS on Spectrum. It is channel 11. I set up the DVR to tape that and a Brad Paisley Concert comes on right after.

I saw Charley Pride in person years ago. Have not heard anything about him in a long time.

last i heard about Charlie was that he had a theather in Branson,Mo.

My late husband also loved Charley....so am i.

I read a review in the newspaper earlier this week. The reviewer was quite impressed. I didn't want to miss seeing the program.

The person reviewing the program admitted they didn't care for country music but liked the program.

He lived not far from me a few years ago; we used the dry cleaners and I saw him when we would pick up our orders....haven't seen him around in a while; have always been a fan...such a nice guy!
