These remote from home shows probably are an advantage to the contestants. You don't get as nervous singing in your living room then singing in front of live audience. I wonder how the winner will fare not having the experience of a large audience if they ever get to go on tour.

Just Sam made the top two, I didn't even like her making the top five! If she wins, this will be the the worst American Idol season for me and a waste of my time.

i put all my votes in for dillon james and arthur gunn.

all in all, i thought that those in the top five deserved to be there.

it was also announced that there will be another season of american idol.

on a fashion note......katy perry looked so cute in her daisy dress!

I thought the top five were all great and would have been happy with any of them winning. I loved the new "We are the World." I thought they did a great job with the finale considering everything. I wish it was 3 hours. The only not so great was Ryan -- he seemed out of it, over wise loved the show,

@sunshine45 Dillon James is incredible- he 'got me' early on (& tonight too!) when he sang Bob Dylan.

I think there was a colossal mistake in the top five. I think Dillon or Johnny should have won and just Sam and the other top one should have been eliminated. Ryan Secrest was obviously doubtful about the results. I wonder if we will ever know the correct results!!!!!
