There was another movie too, I have forgotten the name of it.  About a HUGE spider that some teens found in a cave.  Of course it eventually left the cave and terrorized the town.  That one scared me too......

Exited to add:  I think it was The Spider, a 1958 movie.

Just from reading what the series is about...I can relate b/c I come from a biracial family and I have experienced personal attacks on me and my family. I have no desire to watch the series.

Laughing because I have the same memory.  James Arness was in it...and the sound the ants made drove me crazy!

So goofy, but scared the heck out of me at the time.
