I've had Amazon Prime for years but never used the free prime video except for The Man in the High Castle.

I decided to watch The Fall but there is a charge for each episode.  I thought all TV series and movies were free with Amazon Prime????

The video boxes that are free have a banner across the left corner saying included with prime.

All others upon clicking have a price.

Netflix has The Fall on streaming, great series.

For $99 a year, Amazon can well afford to offer all their videos included in your Amazon Prime subscription.

I agree 100% and thought they did.   It appears not.

Thanks.   I watched season 1 and 2 of The Fall when I had netflix.  Annoying that Amazon Prime charges for it.   I'll pass.

I'm not sure why all all the tv and movies aren't free, but I suspect the contract that Amazon has with the tv and movie companies doesn't allow them to put everything in one free basket.  Keep in mind that if you purchase a standalone subsciption to Netflix, HBO, Showtime, Starz, etc., they don't have all the movie and tv choices provided by Amazon.  They only have limited titles that come with your subsciption.  Also, any of those services cost more than Amazon's $99/year and don't come with shopping and free shipping.

If you're looking for something good and free to watch on Amazon, I highly recommend "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel."

Every video free to watch? I can’t imagine why anyone would think that all videos are free. A very sizeable amount of videos are free to watch, but not every released video.

I'm also and amazon prime member and I've noticed that on many videos that are episodic (those that have lots of individual episodes) it's FREE for the FIRST episode and then all others cost.  They charge 3.99 per episode.  I wanted to re-watch WWII by Ken Burns and put that on my Watchlist but realized that ALL the rest of the episodes cost money.

Funny thing is -- amazon has their banner across left hend side of video ("Prime") and doesn't tell you that only the first one is free.  AND there is no warning that all other episodes cost money.  I call that bait-and-switch.

I find that at times, it is less expenive to buy the dvds of series or single movies either on ebay or amazon, but ebay is usually less expensive.

Maybe this is hard to imagine too, but I thought all music was available through Amazon Prime. A good bit is but not everything I wanted to listen to.
