I've never liked M. Osmond and I can't stand the sight of her.

That is funny. I have not seen Marie Osmond's commercial. But I have seen endless Oprah commercials.

The one I can't believe she is sitting on a sofa in slacks. And you really have to wonder how much weight that you are going to lose on Weight Watchers if that is your spokesperson.

"I'm Marie and I lost 50 pounds on Nutrisystem" has been running non-stop for years now. She says the same thing and appears in a different outfit. I'm sick of that commercial!

And now I see Oprah all the time promoting WW. For someone who's been on it for over 2 years, she doesn't appear to have lost that much weight. I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't think it's a very convincing promotion. At least I could tell that Marie Osmond lost a lot of weight with NS.

I too am sick of Marie Osmond.  She may have lost 50 body pounds but it looks like she gained 30 pounds of hair.  Doubt it's all hers!!!  Enough already.  Haven't seen the Oprah commercials, thank goodness!!!

My radio station’s been running a local diet plan

”SOTA Weight Loss” And “Slim4Life” commercials non-stop.

All these programs are the same:

Go to a location to get weighed, buy their ‘food/shakes’ for 2 meals

and you’re responsible for the 3rd meal.  Of course it’s a quick loss,

but it’s a quick gain, as well.  Lots & lots of $$.  There’s usually 

a radio employee, or several, who gives their own testimony

since they lost alot of weight.  Hope it works for them.

I’m sure every large city has their version of this, yes?

I agree - I'm so sick of the diet scams who come out at the first of the New Year!!!  Besides, I went on Nutrisystem a few years back and got sooooooo sick on the food - and I developed food allergies afterwards!!!!  Watching Marie year after year you can see a new face every year from the plastic surgery - that is entertainment right there!
