Mostly I loved toDAY's show. I'm not watching long enough to know what Ciara should call Julie, but I absolutely loved their talk. It takes one to know one and at the heart of the best soap writing is multi-generational story. I did not know Julie had been raped and I was very touched.

Kayla's scenes with Tripp were great too.

This head writer is doing a lot of things right IMO. (But see next post)

I read (can't remember time frame) Ciara breaks up with Tripp because she can't handle it as they showed today...and Claire, having broken up with Theo, swoops in. This is very disappointing to me because I want Ciara to recover as best she can and find love and because I want Claire to stay in South Africa and never come back let alone hook up with Tripp.

Eve looks more like Theresa's mother. That said the writing is great and I feel equally bad for both of them. And of course for Brady Black Widow (that's what the actor calls his character LOL).

Yes, she does.

I put myself in Brady's shoes. He's the one with the big problem. He's the one who has to leave and think this over in his totally confused mind and not come back until he's reached a decision. This is some heavy thinking he's got to do. I think, being the kind of pushover he is, he will say that he needs to try a life again with Theresa because of Tate. That he doesn't expect Eve to wait, but that he has to give this his best shot and if not, and if she still wants him, he will ask Eve once again if he can come back. If he talks to Victor and Shane, well, that's going to sway him even more towards Theresa. But I know one thing. Theresa should have told him about Chloe. Maybe now wasn't the time, but he's going to hold it against her. He is very fond of Chloe.

You legal people? If he chooses Eve can Theresa sue for custody? And are they still married?

Brady and Teresa were never married, just planning on it.

I do not remember Julie being raped or the character she mentioned to Doug as her assailant, and I am a Lifer, but it just escapes me. That being said, I see nothing wrong with Ciara calling her Grandma, if she preferred Aunt Julie that would be fine too, they both are appropriate. My grandkids call their step grandmother, Grandma.

Does anyone else think the actress who plays Julie either wears her own clothes or buys them for her role? I enjoy watching when she is on because she is so well dressed and accessorized ( sorry if that is a made up word).
