Yesterday I saw Goldie Hawn looking straight out of Laugh In. Short hair, not very cute at all (love her now). It was Cactus Flower. She looked sooooo young. Reminded me very much of Claire.

Goldie won Oscar for this movie. I saw her again later at night on Good Morning World on Antenna TV, from same time period, looked just the same.

@BarbiHollywoodDoug/Chloe is club TPD. And what was TBD supposed to stand for ? I don't believe anyone ever explained it.

TBD usually stands for To Be Determined.

I remember that kid (what was his name??? One of the three.  Tee?) say that 'we should name it with our initials.' I don't know that that fits, tho.

@Judaline  Just seeing this now, five minutes after I posted something near the end of the thread.  I also thought maybe that friend's initial (T) had something to do with the name, but who would've been the B and D?  I'm not up at night wondering about it, just kinda curious now that it became Doug's Place (or whatever, with Julie and Chloe).  It was just something that made me scratch my head.  I guess we'll never know for sure now that it's gone!  Ha!

@BarbiHollywood, not sure if you skipped my two posts, one before and one after Shel's.  There was no T, he was not an owner, he worked there.  There was no B or D.  The club was owned by Sonny and Chad.  We do know for sure, that's what that head writer wanted to call it. Club TBD because that's usually a placeholder but they couldn't work out a name and decided to stick with that..

I have wondered for a long time what TBD stood for. I figure maybe DiMera for the D, but nothing else makes sense.  So who owned it, anyway, Chad, no Tee?, and who could B stand for? Is Sonny really Sonny's first name?

@Judaline, Sonny's real name is Jackson.

I'm out.  It's now been posted four times (three by me, once by Shel) that it stands for To Be Determined.  The head writer at the time put that in the scripts as a placeholder while they tried to come up with a name but failing that they went with the placeholder, TBD.

I still remember Tee saying it should be the initials of all of us, but I guess they didn't go thru with it. Stupid name. I think Tee was originally in on it but had a problem with Sonny's 'different persuasion' and dropped out, eventually making up with Sonny.

I don't remember much of their discussion about a name.  Assuming they couldn't think of one so called it "TBD"--to be determined.    Yes, Tee worked there for a while, but wasn't a partner.  Yes, stupid name.

I've always thought that Claire reminded me of a young Goldie !  She would like more like her if her hair were in that short sassy hair style.  I loved Goldie's hair that way!!  Would like to cut mi e in that style😀. Had it just like that once .
