My husband came home and said "how was your story?" I replied that a half-naked Ben was being tortured / indoctrinated to strangle his bride using a mannequin in a wedding dress with her head superimposed on a laptop screen. He said I had to be kidding, but I pointed out there was no way I'd make up something that stupid!

Yes, I believe this is worse than Marlena's possession storyline.  That was so high camp.  This is pure torture, pardon the pun, and just plain horrible.

I totally agree with everyone else about this torture/brainwashing story line. It's painful to watch.

I also agree about Ciara and Claire's outfits. When I watched today I was just thinking that my daughter and her friends never dressed like that when they were that age. I thought maybe I was just not with the times as I am oldy-but I guess not.

I was taking a break from Days when Ben was the neck tie killer so I missed all that.

Eve, talk about taking the law into your own hands. Yikes.

Another vote for NOT a fan of the torture storyline.  I too literally find myself looking away!

I don't like this storyline either, and not because they're torturing Ben. By far, his on screen brutal murders of Will, Paige, Serena and that poor midwife/ nurse were far more horrific! His torture of Chad and Abigail was despicable, but we all watched and now we're supposed to be rooting for this guy to live happily ever after?  Sorry some things are unforgivable.  What was portrayed of Ben was much more than mental illness. Ciara should be appearing on Dr. Phil with him badgering her about her actions, and sick feelings for a serial killer. 😂  I like Eve, but now they are doing the same thing they did to Ben, turning her into a monster. We won't want to look at her anymore. Just what they want of us NOW, if they're writing her out.  She'll be gone until the next team of writers discover her character and bring her back, realizing they crossed the line with her too. It's one thing when characters scheme and connive, it's another when they're killing. Redemption comes to Days Killers when by chance victims are discovered alive or resurrected! Let's hope Paigee doesn't return and exonerate Ben some more making Eve's quest for revenge really unforgivable!

It is the style here! And apparently in Salem too! 😆  Eve looks all kinds of sexy torturing Ben. Ben is not failing in the sexy department either, while he writhes (in pain that is 😂) over his torture! WHAT TA HELL AM I WATCHING?

I always DVR the show, and sometimes watch "live" while recording.  But until this storyline with Ben is done, I will not be watching "live" so that I can FF those scenes.  I am absolutely disgusted with it.
