Hi, Mama, we love Portland, how cold is it now? We love to eat at DiMillo's and Fore Street restaurants, even Becky's Diner is fine with us, enjoy. Have a lobster roll for me!!

Re: All thing DAYS, wk of 11/20

I loved today's show!  You can actually feel Susan making Sami crazy.  Susan's expressions are hysterical.  I am so glad Chandler is back.  I can't believe they ever thought the NuWill would be a good replacement for Chandler.  There's just no comparison between the two.

Someone mentioned it in last week's thread, but I can't remember who it was, Adrienne seems to be adapting some of the style/mannerisms of Bonnie.  To me that's a really good thing.

Who will be on tomorrow?  I'm back to the Days of looking forward to tomorrow's show with happy anticipation.  Yay!

ITA with everything you said. That Howdy Doody Will was not a good replacement.

I loved toDAY, too, and can't wait to hear what Elvis has to say. I love that Chandler is keeping a partial open mind, and that he up till now has listened. Sami is working against herself by belaboring the point that he isn't EJ. She needs to go down another road. John is taking care of that, tho. At first I thought he was going to don the jumpsuit and come as Elvis to tell her to 'fess up, darlin', it's oooooooover.' But this is going to work I think.

Hope has been looking beautiful lately. I think they have finally found 'her' colors. Bright green the other DAY and that blouse toDAY, altho it was ruined when she put on the blue blazer.

I wish they'd get Arianna on the phone to speak to Chandler and let him see her. She'll say, 'Daddy'and even tho she was too young to remember, we'll ignore that.

Here's hoping after sweeps the thrills continue.

@Judaline  I really like your idea of having John impersonate Elviis.  I think that would have been great.    I also agree with you about Hope and the colors.  I thought the green she had on the other day was beautiful.  I meant to mention in last weeks thread & forgot.

Sami is and always has been her own worst enemy.  She NEVER thinks before she acts.  Thank goodness there are so many others there this time to try to keep her controlled.  Although she has been arrested at least 3x now.  I'm starting to lose count.

Today Rafe said he was married to Sami.  That seems like one of the strangest couplings I've ever heard of.  He's honest - she's devious (IMO).

Roman, Sami's father if you remember, having started watching late, put Sami in a safe house (I forget what she did that time, lol) and Rafe, an FBI agent, was assigned to guard her. He was not a Salemite that we ever knew. Anyway, they fought all the time having to live together with nothing much to do, so one night they just started talking, civilly, and got to be kind of friends. And by the time they left the safe house, they were in love (as my memory tells me but this could be a little off, timing wise). After they were married and lived in a little apt. all they did was, shall we say, make love, in that little bedroom. I mean, it seemed like all the time. It was gag city. As soon as the kids were gone or in their rooms, or at school, there they'd go, into that room. Well, they were newlyweds. I just didn't know why they had to drag us into it, hahahaha

On NBC's promo today it showed Kristin in "EJ's" bedroom laughing her head off.  Don't know if she'll be on this week or next since it's a short week, but usually those clips show  something that will be shown this week.

@soonersis  That is certainly odd. You did say, Kristen, right? I will be anxious to see what that's all about!

@AuntG, , it was a great story.  So much fun.  GG/Rafe was a very good actor then and it was very clever.  Judaline did a great job, I'll just fill in:

Sami was pregnant with EJ's daughter Sydney (and I think Ali Sweeney was pregnant in real life and that's part of how this came to be) and she saw the man who assassinated the mayor so she was put in witness protection like Jud said.

They totally got on each other's nerves.  She had was always trying to escape.  She had even drugged another agent's tea.  And he called the Bureau saying she was a total PITA and this assignment was beneath him.  .

Once he took away her clothes while she was in the shower so she couldn't leave the bathroom.  Once she thought he was somewhere else and she sneaked out and he was on the other side of the door.  That was my favorite Safehouse moment and I tried really hard to find a GIF of it but there isn't one.  There's a lot of videos on youtube from the Safehouse though.

It was written well and acted well and once they started talking and then later falling in love it was charming.  One of my favorite stories ever.  Later they married and Stefano imprisoned Rafe and made a double of him.  By that point GG wasn't growing as an actor and the double was mean, mean, mean but he was funny and in this forum we were rooting for the double because at least he was entertaining.
