Alistair Cooke PBS

It came on after All Things... I hadn't  known anything about his early days. I thought it interesting and enjoyed it.

He was the most fascinating man, wasn't he, @occasionalrain ?   I LOVED Alistair Cooke!

I agree that Alistair Cooke was a fascinating man who brought such class and dignity to Masterpiece Theater!!!  He was by far the best in introducing such TV excellence.

He was actually more attractive when he got older than he was in his 30s and 40s.

 

Wouldn't he be perfect as Jeopardy's new host?  Too bad he's no longer available.
