@qualitygal You are watching the second one, my favorite, I watch it over and over periodically. I also like the following two. After seeing from the second on, the first isn't as exciting as it was originally, but the second always keeps me totally focused with anxiety.

The 3rd one is on now. The one where Ripley is on a prison planet.

OK, I just searched quotes from the late Bill Paxton (Hudson) and I swear he said ""We're toast, man" because DH and I quote that often in various circumstances.
He was my favorite (comic relief) character in Aliens.

The first two Alien movies were the best.
Alien was like riding through the fun house; Aliens was more like riding on the roller coaster!
I've watched all the Alien movies. All of them. Even the Alien vs Predator movies and the prequel movies - Prometheus and Alien: Covenant.
There may be one more Alien movie in the works......
20th Century Fox is currently reassessing the sequels pitched by Ridley Scott, due to Alien: Covenant under-performing at the box office.
In the audio commentary for Alien: Covenant, Scott confirmed that a sequel to Alien: Covenant, tentatively referred to as Alien: Covenant 2, is being written by John Logan with Fassbender, Waterston and McBride reprising their roles. Scott also confirmed that the film will cap his prequel series, leading directly into the events of Alien.
In an interview with Variety on September 20, 2017, Stacey Snider, the current chief-executive-officer of 20th Century Fox, stated that while Alien: Covenant was a financial disappointment they still trust Ridley Scott to know the right story and to proceed with the sequel. In an interview Scott discussed how the film will center on the A.I. character David.

@Big Joanie Yes! I loved Sigourney, Hicks. and Hudson. There are clips of the 30th reunion and Hudson's best lines if you google. Now, I want to watch them, as apparently I don't get the channel that they were airing yesterday, whatever that is.
