Re: Alex's Final Jeopardy

[ Edited ]

@Pearlee.  Contestants had been talking about how nervous they were and that perhaps one of them should play without their pants to break the tension.  What they didn't know was that their mics were hot and Alex heard them.  Thus he brought down their anxiety.  I believe it may have even been James or Ken or both.

You can probably Google Trebek without pants.

I just know it will be tough to replace Alex Trebek!

i think on a game show that no host is going to voice their political opinions or thoughts......and that is just MY  opinion. i find them both to be very likeable, intelligent, and funny.

@sunshine45. I disagree. Their thoughts will come out -- they won't be able to stop themselves, just like posters here.  Besides, their remarks have already alienated a lot of people. Neither of them would be a good choice.

@Pearlee   Ken Jennings addressed the Alex without his pants thing today when he was on The View.

He seems to be trying so hard to find that personality he doesn't have naturally.

Absolutely agree! Wouldn't care to see either of them at the Jeopardy podium.

Mike Rowe ? That would be a shocker. Mike Rowe used to make disparaging comments about certain items he presented when he was a host on QVC. I always felt he was embarrassed working at QVC. I was never a fan of his.

Would think Chuck Wollery would be a better host. He's affable and a god conversation is.  I also would suggest a female host such as Meredith Viera.

Chuck Woolery is definitely not Jeopardy material.  He is political (which people do not seem to care for) and a bit off the rails.

When he made the comment about kindness - It's  like he knew the end was approaching.  Glad the earlier tribute included all his charitible work.  Good person and a great host.
