I'm not a lawyer, but IMHO the blame lies with whoever put live bullets in the gun and the armorer who was supposed to check the gun before giving it to Baldwin.

The armorer is already serving 18 months for her part in this, but she didn't pull the trigger. Baldwin and his attorneys are sticking with that defense. The jury visited the crime scene today but not sure that really added anything to either side. I think Baldwin's sister was in court today. I didn't even know he had a sister.

Defective guns do go off on their own, dropped guns sometimes fire on their own. What reason would Baldwn have to intentionally pull he trigger?

@Trailrun23 ...I didn't hear anything about the Jury visiting the crime scene...Did it show them visiting the scene?...When I checked in on Vinnie Politan last night, he didn't mention anything about it either.

It is being reported that the Prosecution will be calling the Armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, to the stand...I have heard it reported that she has been offered possible immunity for her testimony...We shall see.

I am not impressed with the Prosecution...The lead attorney appears to be disorganized, sloppy and in disarray and held up the Jury yesterday while going over further testimony with the Judge that she wants admitted which should have been taken care of on the first day when Motion Hearings were held by both sides...She is picking apart and finding fault with just about every word spoken by Alec after the tragic incident.

No testimony from Gutierrez-Reed who was scheduled for today.  It's been delayed.

Also, jury dismissed for the day.

I love the term "Actors' Immunity" which has been used in the media to describe Baldwin's defense.

Interesting turn of events...The Prosecution has brought forward evidence from a supposed "good samaritan" (ammunition involved in shooting)...which the Defense was not informed about by the Prosecution who also filed it under a different file and case #.

Defense Attorney has requested dismissal of case.

Judge has sent Jury home until Monday morning....Court will remain in session with testimony from witnesses who brought this evidence forward to the Prosecution.

The judge requested to see the actual ammunition and examined it from her bench during court....she sent the jury home for the day. They said we could have a decision on dismissal of the case by the end of the day, but more likely next week. The defense has maybe underestimated the prosecutors.

The short film clip showed  jury members walking around the movie set, etc. This was on our local news last night;probably ABC or CBS....

@MyShadowLoveI agree on the Prosecutor...she is driving me nuts. Glasses on. Glasses off over and over and over. Dirty looks in direction of Baldwin and Defense table. Snide and sarcastic statements which have no place in Court of Law. Can't stand still. Flits all over the place. Continual disruptions with the judge and defense attorneys. I am surprised at what the Judge is letting her get away with.
