Bravo to Adele for calling out the idiot who came to her concert and set up a tri pod camera and was going to tape her whole concert. Guess it was some money making scheme. Adele, took care of it from the stage.
Gees, people.............

Good for her!

nothing surprises me any more. Gees lady buy the CD/DVD. Who wants to drag a Tri pod and equipment get in other people's way that they can't see just so you can tape it for your selfish gain. I'd had security usher her *** out the door.

I don't even like attending concerts anymore. The majority of people sitting in front of you are holding up cellphones to record the whole show and blocking your view!
I think concert facilities should not allow selfies or videos, or whatever to be taken at a concert where people pay good money to see the artist they came to see.
People are so attached to their phones that they miss what is going on in front of their eyes, so they can post or tweet something to the cyber world.
The world has gone over the top in technology and the culture is suffering for it.

Hi Frosted Cake! I like technology as much as the next chicken, but it has gotten far beyond ridiculous in so many ways!
That said, however, I do remember when I was on my first cruise (Alaska). I remember this one guy (now, this was 16-17 years ago) who lived the entire 10 day vacation with his big ol' (they were bigger then!) video camera on his shoulder.
I remember remarking to my husband that I wonder how much he's enjoying it, as he's only seeing everything through the lens. So, I guess the moral of the story is that some folks have always been like that. But now it has exploded into a major ridiculosity, IMO. Oh well. Whatever floats your boat, eh?
