@MamaWick, are you working for the company that bought your old company?  (Everyone can't work from India, can they?)  Or a new company altogether?

LOL...drug transcriptor.  I am a "Certified Healthcare Documentation Specialist" which really should be certifiable. 

Yes, I am still in medical transcription, but now doing QA for the company I joined last April.  It is a promotion!!!  But as I said, working my tail off.

@LoriLori  They didn't buy my company (which is a major hospital group in STL).  My hospital group outsourced to that company, but NO, I didn't go with them.  It was a game.  The new place wanted me so they would look good to my old employer and my old employer wanted me to go to work there so they would get their transcription done correctly. 

I went with an MTSO (medical transcription service organization) owned and operated in the good old US of A.  It is a brand new company (as of last April) and we are growing by leaps and bounds.  The pay is peanuts but I love it.  I am now in QA for a new account we just signed.
