re the raspberry squares:  I am such an idiot domestic goddess.  

i remembered they had dry ice in the package, and it was melted.

i put them in the refrigerator overnight and had one for breakast.  OMG!  totally different thing!  absolutely delicious and not crumbly at all!

five stars.

and i give myself one star.  and that's only because i stuck them in the refrigerator.  should have realized what the dry ice meant duh.

@snowball no - I didn't get a little doggie yet, but hoping to get it sooner rather than later. I have an idea about changing his mind.  Will let you know if it works!!

@Judaline -  I never thought of naming it Jim - but - my neighbor - whose package of Tate's cookies started the ordering craze last week is named Jim!  Maybe I should name it in his honor - HaHa!!

Also glad you clalrified your DH remark!  I never heard of that song.

@LoriLori - sorry you didn;t like the chocolate chip cookies.   I am enjoying the lemon tea loaf this weekend.  It is very dense and tart - a little slice at a time.  I still have the chocolate tea loaf in the freezer.   Must have self-control!!
