Have you seen the original from 1939 with Irene Dunne and Chas Boyer, also wonderful. Both were directed by Leo McCreary. The original is titled Love Affair.

Also another version in 1994 with Beatty and Benning called Love Affair

@Shelbelle  I did not know that.!   Wasn't Sleepless in Seattle also a take off of the original An Affair to Remember too?

No not a "take off."  It just used the idea of meeting at the Empire State bldg. .
