According to the NY Post, AMC Theaters is in preliminary talks with a well-known bankruptcy law firm about the possibility of filing for bankruptcy. The article stated that the theater chain has already failed to pay rent at some locations. (Of course the theaters are closed due to the pandemic).

It's hard to see how movie theaters survive if this goes on too long.  However, I read yesterday that drive-in theaters - yes, there are still some - have done very well in the past month.  Maybe they'll become popular again!

This was on the local news.  It sounded like they stopped paying bills last month.  I don't think they are going to make it. Unfortunately, there will be others.  USPS is struggling again.

Oh I'm sure they won't be alone in filing for bankruptcy.  

I also expect a lot of small businesses to go under.  This whole thing has been a disaster.

Again?  They are always "struggling."  The pandemic has made the "struggling" worse.
