It has to do with men's underwear; the actor has some kind of foreign accent (German or Scandanavian, maybe?). Has anyone else seen it? I think it's in really poor taste. I'm pretty broadminded but this is too much, even for me.

@GoneButNotForgotten

Most commercials & many TV shows these days are in poor taste.

What's really funny is that a group of ladies got into a huge kerfuffle over men's underwear.   Quite humorous.

@Johnnyeager  It's quite  humorous to me what you consider a "huge kerfuffle."

I don't think a "huge kerfuffle" would fit into that small pouch.

The whole idea of it seems silly to me. I would never buy this gimmick underwear for my husband and sons. It doesn't appear to be fit for purpose.

Another thing great about the "Icky" men's underwear commercial is that if more men would see it and buy them then all tht public adjusting won;t be necessary!!  What do those that think it is "icky" think about seeing  all that adjusting in public!!???

I love it, @Pook

The best part of the kerfuffle has been surgically removed and excised.

You had to have been around to read it prior to extinguishment.

It was priceless and precious.

@Johnnyeager. I saw it but stand by my comments above.  Kerfuffle? Not so much.  I see though that one participant has been silent lately thankfully.

the ad does not bother me, how else can they emphasize the difference in these underwear?  they tried to make it a light humor.  I will take that ad any day over every single time at dinner they run the "bloody stool" ad! yuk and yuk!

I find nothing icky or offensive in the commercial.

It does a great job of getting the manufacturer's message out there in a humorous way.

Good job by the ad agency.

ITA ....   Ad agencies go to a lot of trouble to create concepts for commercials amd usually present more than one option.  Most companies want commercials that get the consumer's attention ....  and it's nice to see people talking about them.   Companies also know that some people complain about everything, and no commercial is liked by 100% of viewers.

On the various threads I've seen on here about various commercials, I also see comments that indicate some people are just embarrased by real life.    Hey, we're grownups, and should be able to accept that humans have all sorts of problems to deal with, even if they aren't "tasteful" or g-rated problems.

I bet the British Royal Family doesn't engage in these heinous, undignified, vulgar activities.
