Just awful. Another screamer.  This show leaves a lot to be disired. Pretty bad. Who are these people? I only know Jake Owen.

I will be watching the Boston Pops...my favorite way to spend 4th of July evening, and will also check out the two in DC, and Macy's in New York. We saw our big fireworks show here last night, so tonight we stay in and enjoy fireworks and music  from all over the country.

I opted to take a pass on this one and have no regrets, based on feedback I've seen and heard. This show is never near the top of my 'to do' list anyway, but looking at the PBS site showed me that this year it was particularly thin on talent. Even more so than usual. And that's saying something.

I totally agree with everyone here.  Everyone wants to put their own spin on the National Athem and they mess it up.

Kate Smith is turning over in her grave for those of us that are old enough to remember her.
