In Post 16 the mystery is solved ... she is a Brand Ambassador for CD, and the outfit was a freebie, and probably many others were sent to her, as well.  Free.  Natalie probably "has" to be seen in CD clothes as part of her contract.   If she is simply honoring her contract, I see nothing wrong with that, do you?

And I have to ask .... exactly when did Natalie Portman tell you how to live .... I'm dying to hear this one!

@Tinkrbl44Woman Very Happy  Same time she asked you to take up for her on this bulletin board I guess.  I really don't recall at the moment!  Do you?  Woman Very Happy

Hollywood ....ugh...how many meals for the homeless and prostetics for disabled vets could this outfit buy?

With priviledge comes responsibility......

And then you hear them whine...Making a movie is so hard...have to be at work at 6am...blah blah..

Nothing to admire here...

What is wrong with people who constantly complain because "Hollywood" isn't spending their money as you see fit?

It appears that NP got these clothes for free, and wears them as a Brand Ambassador.   Do you have ANY idea how much Natalie gives to various charities, or are you just making stuff up?

Does she have to buy clothes from Walmart for you to approve?   Or do you always criticize even when you don't know what you're talking about?  .

YOU'RE  the one complaining she is telling you how to live .... just wanted more information, if you're telling the truth, that is.   She has never told me how to live, but clearly you think you are being criticized ....  so let's hear it.

Just to be clear, I never said she asked me to "take up for her" on this board.  And she never did ... I don't know the woman.   Clearly, you just like inventing stories ... try the truth once in a while

Doubtful she used her own money on those items.  And the purse, being a brand ambassador, was probably given to her to promote the line.

Wit a minute ... which items are included in that $7,000 number?

Having problems opening the link, but I realized that this $7k number could also mean that the designer bags were $6,500 and the sneakers were $300 .... and the jeans and tee were $200.  If that's the case, many women have paid that much for designer jeans and a tee ...  no biggie, IMO.

The bag is 5,600 which she is the ambassador for.  I doubt very much she paid for it.  As for the t shirt I'm sure she got paid for wearing it.  The jeans, sunglasses and sneakers are probably hers or from wardrobe as she is in Australia making Thor.

It's common now for celebrities to get paid for advertising designer clothes

@Tinkrbl44 - The Christian Dior teeshirt was $1750.  No mention was made of how much the jeans were.  Maybe she got them at Walmart!
