Also, I thought that arranged marriage was done now. Didn't they go through what they had to for him to be divorced? Isn't he free to get married? It seems like she keeps ragging on him about getting married and he says nothing. I just don't understand.
The in-laws may have taken the passport to keep him from fleeing or to hold it as a hostage for a bribe? He could ask for it back, or someone from his family, but it doesn't seem that will be happening anytime soon. Things with the in-laws did not end well and his family paid a fortune to them for the divorce. He is to pay his parents back but I don't think he is working and they are living on her social security.
There is no legal reason for the wedding to not take place as per the lawyer but his mother threatened suicide should he go ahead with the wedding. He fears his mother will make good on her threat.
Now it looks like his parents want to move into their apartment. Kid of a cliff hanger there. Maybe it is cultural for the son to take in the parents at a certain age or stage of health. Maybe they want to discourage the wedding taking place by insisting on moving in knowing she won't like it one bit.
I just don't get how his ex inlaws have the right to keep his passport. It belongs to him, not them. Of course, I have no idea what the legalities are there. I wonder if he still owes on that $$$ debt they established for the purpose of allowing him to divorce her.
As to the parents, yeah, I guess I kind of understand how his culture keeps him in a place where if he goes against his parents then that makes him bad and something horrible could happen to them because of his deeds. The guilt trip stuff always makes me cringe. They, or at least the mother, really laid it on thick.
I don't even know why this stuff is bothering me. I really don't care about either one of them. But it's stuff that makes no sense that tends to get to me.

Sumit should write a book about how to come up with excuses. I wonder if he's even being honest about someone else taking it? I'm thinking his parents might have it. He doesn't seem to want to marry Jenny so it's tough to tell what's happening.

You really don't think he wants to marry her? I never got that impression, they seem (to me, at least) to really love each other. I sure hope it works out for them.
But having his parents move in?! Yikes! What could possibly go wrong?

I can't believe Jenny left her family for Sumit. He lied from the start. Does he work?? How could they go to Nepal for 3 months?? I just don't get it.

@RainyDayGal My guess is he's trying to wear out her patience and hoping she'll leave. He's too afraid to break up with her after all they've been through together. I'm sure there are some feelings there. Rumors are floating around online that they are now married. I'm interested to see if they're true.

@Jessa9 I agree with you about leaving her family for him. He does work at times but then for whatever reason he says he can't and quits. I assume they are living on her social security money.
His can travel to Nepal without a passport because the Indian government allows it. It's next to India. The entire thing is stupid. His mom moving in with them and Jenny scrubbing and sweeping for her is ridiculous.

I can't stand the Jenny/Sumit story. He's not going to marry her and the whole visit to the astrologer was ridiculous. She needs to come home and go back to work. He obviously doesn't work.
That broad from Washington is crazy. She already knows the dude is a cheater and yet she is still moving to a 3rd world Caribbean island country. However, her story about her husband was very sad.
As for Evelin and Corey--they deserve each other. She's definitely a hypocrite--she cheated on Corey. I think the secret is that Jenny (corey's jenny) is pregnant. Or that they got engaged while he and Evelin were broken up.

Ditto!
I fell asleep halfway thru it, and I don't plan to waste any more time with these phony, lying, losers.
While I realize a lot (most?) of these TLC programs are scripted, this bunch is utterly ridiculous.

Begging all your pardons if I'm in the wrong thread here but I can't find the other 90 Day one...at least I think there was one. Anyway............
So on my news thingy this morning read that Angela claims Michael is having surgery to extend his manly bits. She says that just like he was unhappy with her first breast reduction surgery because they were too small that although she loves his p**** it isn't as big as was promised. Dear God this woman has no couth.
