Re: 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After

@DrKelli, just letting you know I watch these shows, too, lol. They're my trash TV .... I can't stop watching these train wrecks.

I admit that my impression of Anfisa has improved a little. Yes, she's a gold digger, but she's been honest about that from the get-go. She's clearly stated her motivation and goals from the beginning, which puts her a step above some of the others.

Clearly I don't know - maybe someone here does. Why does Jorge have a different car/vehicle in every scene. He doesn't work for a car dealer. And claims he does not have large sums of money.

Just curious.

@DrKelli Agree with you about Darcy's marriage obsession. No matter who it would be to...that's not a good thing ever. The guy she went to see (sorry don't remember his name) is very strange. A man asking a woman to take off her makeup before she goes to bed etc. No.

Darcy seems so immature.  She does not seem comfortable with herself.  She was wearing those heels on that cobble street.  He told her to put sneakers on.  Instead she could barely walk and looked totally uncomfortable.  While traveling there she went into the gift store at the airport and started putting on all of the skin products.  This guy has no interest in settling down.  She is so hyper and he seems calm and totally fitness oriented.  When they went on that bike ride it was concerning to me that when she almost ran into to somebody he never went back to where she was to see if she was ok.  Instead he was irritated she could not keep up.  I don't see how she thinks he is her soul mate.  I am not sure why she thinks he is so handsome.  He looks fine but good grief she just gushes over him.

I agree with you Anfisa has never presented herself anything more or less than what she is. I believe Jorge presented himself as a wealthy man.  However he does seem to have money at times.  That gift was very expensive I believe he may be renting those cars.  Who knows, It is kind of sketchy how he makes his money.  I remember one time he stated he had something to do with marijuana.

I didn't see the entire show yet, but saw all of the one that comes on after it, where the people travel internationally. I read that Anfisa was a cam girl when George met her... and that there are videos of her nude on many porn sites. Also, that's she's a stripper now. What a catch. LOL. Of course he's no prize either.

Yes, George is a real loser.... Anfisa is just a porn star  class D... maybe they are perfect for one another???

Oh this makes sense.  Anfisa is always saying she has savings.  So I guess she made money in Russia.  What is a cam girl?

I think his name is Jesse.  I thought that was also weird that he asked her to take her makeup off--maybe he was trying to protect those silk sheets.  LOL.

Did anyone else think Jesse's (Amsterdam) apartment looked like a college dormitory?

Yes it did. I do know from watching house hunters that othe countries people don't seem to need as much room. They have what they need.  He told her to bring one bag and instead she traveled like she was moving in.  As far as make up goes he was probably wondering why she was keeping it on.  I think she wears a lot.

Re: 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After

@sunshine 919  Did you also hear her when they went into the restaurant and he pulled out her chair.  She said "boy, that's the first time anybody ever pulled a chair out for me".  I found that startling.  What kind of men does she know anyway?  Maybe that's why she is so desperate???

Also, I don't remember seeing them on bikes.  Do you remember when, in the show, they did that?  I still have it and can go back and find it.  Would love to see it.  TIA

Whoever said that he didn't want his sheet to get makeup on them, is probably right on the money.  That makes more sense than anything else.

After she got there and went to the room it came after that I think.  He explained that is the way most people travel where he lives.

The biking scenes were about the middle of the show, I think?  They went to his apartment (where she wanted him to carry her over the threshhold) and she changed clothes and then they went bike riding.

This is one of the most depressing show on TV and that's not something I say easily (there are so many).

I sit there watching this show and more often than not I fast forward over much of it.  I DVR it for that reason.  Why do I even bother?  I don't know.  I think it's because I'm just astounded by people's stupidity.  Sometimes I just delete it.

I did want to see if she'd get the annulment (she didn't).  Did she really believe this guy loved her?  Do these other people really believe these people love them?  They can't find love here so they go to these other countries and find it so quickly?  Wouldn't that tell them something?  Obviously not!

The guy who's married to the beautiful young woman from (I think it's) Columbia says over and over, (paraphrasing) "I know showing the body is OK in her country more than it is here.....but".  Good grief!  My husband had a good friend (male) from Venezuela and he'd come home telling me some of what this guy said and thought (about most things) and mouth was always....open....like "Okay"?  Ha!  It doesn't always mean it's wrong .... it means it's different...

I so want Danielle's (now-ex) husband shipped back to where he came from.  He was a user but she was so stupid to believe he loved her.  Had she really listened to him, maybe she'd have been different.....but then I doubt it.

@Annabellethecat66  I believe Mohammad went back to Tunisia, probably to get away from Danielle, lol.  I agree, how could she ever think a young guy like him would be attracted to her, delusional to say the least.
