Da'Vonne shocked the house yesterday by making a smart move for herself and saving Kevin. Who knew she could make a smart game move? But Da'Vonne being Da'Vonne, she thinks she's really saving Tyler and that Da'Vonne, David, Christmas, and Kevin voting to keep Tyler will pull him to their side and they'll now control the house. The house wanted Da'Vonne to believe that Kevin was safe so she wouldn't use the POV and they did manage to convince her that Kevin easily had the votes to stay (he didn't, they were lying to her) but because she believed the lie she used the POV to try and save Tyler. Daniele put up Ian and Da'Vonne thinks that was the only reason Tyler now has a chance to stay. (Tyler wasn't going anywhere.)
Nicole took the news of Ian's nomination as you'd expect and has entered into extra-whiny mode and assumes she can whine and cry her way into getting what she wants which is Ian to stay and Tyler will be gone. Yeah, that's not going to happen. At this moment the votes to keep Tyler are Cody, Memphis, David, Kevin, Da'Vonne, probably Enzo, and Christmas (who David thinks he's hoodwinked into voting for Tyler. Uh, no. They have a final two deal and are close allies.) Ian has Nicole and uh, well, there's Nicole. Barring a massive change, Ian's a goner.
Nicole intends to rally the house to save her beloved Ian, well, her reputation more than Ian. Having been caught laughing at Ian's disability earlier and being warned by the DR, she knows her reputation could have a few fracture lines and she's desperately trying to repair them. By throwing every tear and whine she's got at the house she's hoping to make everyone forget her laughing at Ian and become his champion. Unfortunately for Ian, her massive campaign to save him started out by her hiding in her bed under the covers.
David has an incredible read on the house. Incredible as in no clue whatsoever. If David says he knows something to be true, you can safely bet the opposite. He may be the most dense player we've ever had on BB and that's saying something. He is entertaining to watch though as he veers through the game with no real clue what's happening. He'd be the perfect winner this season given how 2020 has gone. The women on Love Island should be very happy BB snatched him up before he could land there. The one good thing is he's planning to put up Cody and Nicole should he win HOH. The odds of him winning HOH are not great.
We have a show tonight! The typical Wednesday show has been moved to Tuesday this week to try and confuse us. Ha! We're smarter than that! On tonight's show, we'll see the aftermath of Daniele's bold nomination of an ally (Tyler) and an enemy (Kevin) and the damage that did to her standing in the house. (She's now a pretty big target.) We'll see the picking of the POV players and the POV comp with the incredible shrinking veto. We won't see the nonstop cheating that apparently went on. They weren't supposed to touch something stainless steel but many (Ian, Da'Vonne, and someone else, Kevin?) kept doing so and getting yelled at. We'll see Da'Vonne win her first-ever comp. Probably half the show will be spent on the manipulation done to try and convince Da'Vonne not to use the POV. Then finally we'll see Da'Vonne use the POV and up goes Ian to be sacrificed to the BB Gods on Thursday.
By the way, in a shocking turn of events, Sunday's show had the most viewers of the season with 4.4 million tuning in. They were still well behind the NFL with 15+ million viewers but held second place pretty easily and gained viewers over the week before. The odds in favor of BB23 are growing as BB is holding it's own so far this season.

@gardenman I have a question. I know if anyone quits the show they lose all the money and basicaly dumped on the street with nothing. Both Ian and Tyler have said they will not go to jury and will go home. Do they also lose everything or just the extra $20,000 for making jury?

They lose everything. They're still a part of the show even when in the jury.

A pretty quiet day in the house. Ian is still queued up to go and Nicole is still trying to save him, but the votes aren't there.

The POV comp was a bit hokey but fun. The cheating that was driving production crazy was apparently the houseguests sliding their hands up the tweezers past the plastic handgrips. There was a plastic handle on the tweezers, but on several of the shots you could see where they had cheated their hand up to the metal part. The closer your hand is to the end, the easier it is to hold it steady.

That was actually a good show tonight. Nicole is such a phoney. Just the other day she was making fun of Ian and now she is boo-hooing because he's on the block. I was shocked that Ian threw a fit at the end. Don't think I have ever seen him get upset.

@sabra ... Nicole is such an AWFUL actress and I don't understand why the houseguests don't run from the room when they see her coming in their direction .... just the whining and tears and asking others if she "looks" upset before she goes out to see Ian on the swing ... now she's vegan and how wonderful Victor is to find restaurants, etc. just for her ... where is my barf bag ...new name for her ... WILOMEANA WATERWORKS !! It's ALL ABOUT NICOLE !!
