For those who had day one in the BB pool for how long until Nicole F turned on the other women, congratulations! You won! Not that it's a surprise. She plays the same every time. This time it might be backfiring on her however.

Cody's HOH is unraveling rather quickly. His plan to nominate Kaysar and Janelle imploded rather badly when they figured it out and Kaysar won the Safety Suite and is keeping Janelle safe as his plus one. They're now forming an army to go against the Cody/Tyler/Nicole F alliance and destroy them. Joining Janelle and Kaysar are Nicole A, Keesha, possibly Ian and Kevin. Nicole A helped expose Cody's plan when she told Janelle that Cody told her he knew who he was nominating. When Janelle talked to Cody he lied and told her he didn't know who he was nominating. Oops! Cody got caught.

Kaysar watches everyone and knows who's been talking with Cody and has figured out the alliance. He also has picked up that Cody has a tell when he's lying, so Cody's got problems. 

Cody's backup plan, subject to change, is to put up Keesha and Kevin (though Janelle and Kaysar think it might be Memphis and Keesha) with Keesha the target. Janelle and Kaysar are hoping to get picked for POV and intend to save Keesha. 

Janelle has a star costume she has to wear as punishment for not winning the Safety Suite. 

Cody more or less declared war on the old school players and he's about to feel their wrath. While much of the house is content to lie low and stay out of the line of fire, Kaysar and Janelle are preparing for war. Cody, Tyler, and Nicole F are the targets. Janelle said the Dan told her the reason Derrick wasn't on was because of Nicole F. Speculation is that this was all part of a plan to help hide the Cody/Nicole F preshow alliance. Why would Nicole F and Cody work together if she got his best bud off the show? It's not working if that was the plan. Janelle and Kaysar now know Nicole F and Cody are working together.

We should get the nominations tonight, then the POV tomorrow. Things are getting pretty interesting early this year.

It looks like David and Memphis will be our early risers this year. David was last year also. David likes to get up early and tidy the kitchen every morning. The whole house is up now. We should get the noms later today with Kevin and Keesha the likely noms as of now. Nicole F was playing the crying game yesterday after Janelle and Kaysar were safe. Janelle's star outfit is pretty neat.

The Suite twist apparently lasts just three weeks and houseguests can only play once over the three weeks. Most opted not to play yesterday, so Kaysar was able to get the win. This week it was for safety, it will probably be something different each of the next two weeks. Veto? Replace a nom? We'll have to see.

Thanks for the updates!! I am so excited Kaysar has him and Janelle safe for now, they have been my favorites for years! I wish Nicole F would be number 1 target for the majority of the house. Possibly even Dani, as I never have cared for either of them!

My choice to get booted off first - Christmas - didn't like her in her season - that show off piggy back ride nonsense didn't pan out like she wanted since she broke her ankle

Bayleigh - she acted like an insane banshee on the Challenge reality show - don't want to see anymore of her shenanigans

Bayleigh has been a bit of a surprise to me so far. She's been relaxed, funny, pleasant, and I don't dislike her this year. Keesha is still my favorite. Cody, Daniele, and Nicole F are my least favorites so far. That may all change over the next few weeks.

I've been surprised as well. I didn't know who was going to be in the cast but some of the names that were leaked seemed less than All Star worthy. I was happy there was going to be a season but I thought I might be underwhelmed with the players. I'm happy to say that's not the case at all, in fact, I've been enjoying all of them. So much so that I wish there didn't have to an eviction. It's really been fun listening to all their stories and memories of past seasons. It's kind of a shame we can't just go on like this for at least another week or so. Unfortunately, the game is afoot and after nominations today I suspect the atmosphere in the house will change, maybe even drastically.

I remember the first time I saw the words Halcyon Days in a book I was reading. I had no idea what it meant. When I looked it up it was described as being a tranquil period of happiness, especially in the past. I look on these past couple of days as the halcyon days of Season 22 Big Brother All Stars. 

Seriously, though,these first couple of days have been so great.

Kevin just did a brilliant job of laying a guilt trip on Cody. He told Cody he'd been quiet and not talking to him because of how things went in his first season. He said he didn't mesh well with people who were different from him. He really laid it on Cody who's now retreated to the HOH and may be rethinking his noms. (By the way, in Kevin's season, he was part of the big bully alliance that largely controlled the game and ran roughshod over the rest of the house, so his narrative would only play on a guy like Cody who's not a big BB fan. Janelle, Ian, or other vets who followed the series would know Kevin was blowing smoke, but it worked and is hitting Cody hard.)

We're now in the feeds blackout as the nomination ceremony takes place. Will Cody nominate Kevin and Keesha, or did Kevin's plan work to keep him off the block? We'll find out fairly soon.

I thought the first part of his pitch was pretty cringey but in the end it turned out to be good. Actually, I was wondering when Kevin might decide to start playing the game, lol. It looks like Keesha is Cody's target--not that the house will agree. Still, Cody might be looking for a new pawn. I was trying to think of who he could nominate that would give Keesha a better chance to stay. 

I was thinking back to last season and wondering how things might have gone if those racial accusations were made now. Would a riotous band of protesters storm the CBS lot and demand retribution? Sounds crazy, I know, but a lot of what's happened this year has been crazy. The file labeled "2020, who woulda thunk it" gets bigger every day.

To be honest, I think it would be to Cody's benefit if he can avoid eliminating any player that might be considered controversial in today's climate especially with it being the first eviction. I like Keesha but she does fill the bill in that department though others could as well. We've had adorable kittens for a while now so we don't  much longer to wait to hear the news no one really wants to hear.

I read that about Boogie earlier this year and was kind of surprised and kind of not. He always seemed like somewhat of a shady character. 

I heard about Bayleigh losing her temper on The Challenge...and at Kaycee no less. Hard to imagine...I mean, who gets mad at Kaycee, lol?

Anyway, she seems like a different person on the live feeds--so far anyway. The true test will be when something doesn't go her way. 

One thing I learned about her is that she's been a yoga instuctor for three years. Maybe one of these days the Zen state of mind will rub off on her.
