One day after the 60 Minutes show features a Facebook employee explaining how toxic Facebook really is, QVC tells its customers it is shutting down our community and that we should join Facebook.

I won't join Facebook.  I value my mental health.

Yes, it's not good timing.  I wonder if the new CEO had something to do with this.  He started October 1.

I use facebook, every day. Our community has info on school happenings(late buses, etc.) New businesses, accidents so we can avoid backups.

i limit my friends to relatives and close friends, so no business, political stuff, etc.

if used right(don't share personal info) facebook isn't evil.

The only reason I have stayed with the QVC forums all these years is the moderation.  I was close to quitting when they brought in the mods.
