I read the book Crazy Rich Asians when it came out. It's hilarious and really liked the movie.

I've only seen and loved the Hugh Grant and Tom Hanks ones.  Nothing comes close to Pride and Prejudice--especially the BBC series, although the movie is good too.

Re: 26 of the Best Romantic Comedies to Watch

This is an excellent list!

I've seen almost all of them with Bridget Jones, 13 Going on 30, When Harry Met Sally , Hitch and My Big Fat Greek Wedding among my favs.

I loved Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly but my favorite romantic (and all-time) movie is Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet. I have lost count of how many times I've seen it and I love it every time.

I have seen all of them, except Palm Springs. My favorite is Pretty Woman which is not on the list. Also Runaway Bride was good. I guess who ever compiled the list is is not a Julia Roberts fan.

I believe I have seen 19 of these.  Some really good ones on that list for sure.  I'll have to watch the ones I haven't seen.  You have to see Love, Actually for sure, it's a great movie as is Crazy Rich Asians!!   I love these types of feel good movies Smiley Happy  Thank you for posting. @beach-mom

@DSD2 ITA, Sense and Sensibility is an all time great movie!!  Hugh Grant was adorable in that.

Re: 26 of the Best Romantic Comedies to Watch

One of my favorite rom-coms is Ryan Reynolds in "Definitely, Maybe."

Here is a brief synopsis:

There's an art to acting in a great romantic comedy. Generally, the audience recognizes that what they're seeing is not meant to reflect reality, and thus, there's a sense of escapism in watching two perfect strangers fall in love. "Definitely, Maybe" does a great job of upending rom-com cliches by using a great framing device. The film is told in partial flashbacks as the political staffer Will Hayes (Ryan Reynolds) explains his past romances to his young daughter, Maya (Abigail Breslin).

Casting Reynolds as an endearing father was a genius move. His snarky attitude and humorous expressions make sense since he is trying to give a young girl a good idea of what his life is like. Beautifully, Will both reflects and matures as he sums up his life experiences to his daughter. It's only through her probing questions that he begins to become more optimistic.

The film follows Hayes through three relationships as Emily Jones (Elizabeth Banks), Rachel Hoffman (Isla Fisher), and Summer Hartley (Rachel Weisz) all vie for his heart at various stages. Each of these incredible actresses helps flesh out a different part of Reynolds' personality, and each subplot is equally as engaging.

At the end of the movie, after describing all of these relationships, his daughter guesses which one turned out to be her mother.

I loved it.
