Did anyone see last night's episode of Sister Wives? It was a new episode, but, I found it odd that there was no mention of Covid and no masks being worn. Kody and the 3 wives loaded up in Robin's minivan and made a 14 hour drive to visit some polygamist friends in Utah. I guess it could have been filmed in 2020 just prior to Covid hitting, but, I didn't think they filmed that far in advance of a new season.

This season has been odd so far. They are obviously all at different stages in their lives and there's no need for them to be together. In a way they act like strangers to each other.

My guess would be that they don't believe in masks and vaccines which is what many ultra conservative religions believe. I expect the only time they wear masks is when they go to stores that require them.

Yes, I noticed that they seem uncomfortable spending time together. I think Kody wanted to visit with this other polygamist family because they all live in one home and he is trying to push that idea through with his wives. Janelle is the only wife even slightly interested in that concept. Kody is too hyper for me - I couldn't be around him for more 5 minutes!

I don’t think wearing a mask or not wearing one has anything to do with being religious.
I know a few people for various reasons don’t wear masks and it has nothing to do with religion.
Mostly I see it as a sign of ignorance. There are a few old-timers who have difficulty breathing with a mask on. Many of them try to wear face shields.
It’s interesting what some people think about this Covid, the vaccine, the need to wear a mask and so on.
I have a husband and wife who won’t get the vaccine. He never gets any vaccines for anything. She believes if she gets the vaccine she will have to wear a mask 24/7 especially around him everywhere because the vaccine will give him Covid.
None of these people are religious. I don’t think it’s fair to group individuals into groups for what they think about specifics.

@Annabellethecat66 I was going by several people I know and superspreader events sponsored by a megachurch in a nearby town. I was relating that to the Browns who seem not to wear masks.

I am thinking it was filmed before covid. 90 day just started mentioning covid the last couple weeks. These shows seem to be filmed way in advance. I know they did quarantine from one of the youtubers. It seems Kody quarantined with Robin, no surprise there,

I just read that they were filming back in May. I also learned that Christine traveled to New Jersey in September to see her sister. Apparently she caught flack on social media for traveling and not masking so she threw on a mask at a Panera Bread and snapped a photo but didn't appear to wear one regularly.

I take it he thinks he's looking young and hot with those hairdo changes he goes through that you see on young guys these days. When in fact he looks like an aging fool. (imo)
As silly looking as middle aged and older men wearing earrings. Some things need to be left to the young.
