Actually there is a great triple header on TCM tonight: First Diabolique followed by 12 Angry Men at 8pm followed by Anatomy of a Murder. I highlighted 12 Angry Men because, in the first The Fugitive our group watched with Ed Begley, I mentioned he'd been in this film and someone in our group said she'd never seen it @twinsister ? @drizzellla ? If you've never seen this film it is excellent with a stellar cast.

I don't think I've seen the others, but 12 Angry Men is such a classic, beautifully done, movie. I haven't seen it in a very long time.
Thank You for the heads up.

Movie greatness, storyline, excellent cast and acting, all the ingredients to make 12 Angry Men one of the best , a movie you do not tire of, a classic. Anatomy of a Murder and Diabolique also two movies worth watching!!

Love it! I was just about to alert my fave "Anatomy of a Murder" when I saw you've mentioned it, @Pearlee -- another brilliant, fabulous courtroom drama with superlative acting.
You're right, great line-up tonight.

It is an excellent film. Although it's been criticized more recently for being 12 men, i.e., no women on the jury, it's the acting that makes this such a powerful film...well worth watching.

@Vivian People need to consider things in the context of their times. Women were home looking after their children. Times have changed.

Funny that the basic story line was used in an episode of the Andy Griffith Show. Aunt Bee is the lone juror who believes the alleged burglar is innocent. The alleged burglar was played by none other than Jack Nicholson.
In the movie 12 Angry Men, the director had the jury room set get smaller as the story progresses to make the tension stronger. See if you notice that.
