12/24 6p.m. here Christmas in Conn.

I'm so afraid I'll miss it.  I'm going to do a few reminders around the house today, to be sure I see it.  I love the house in the movie!!!  I'm into houses in the movies.  Sometimes it's the music, or both.  Not musicals, the other, start and finish music I should say.

For those in the NY area, "Christmas In Connecticut " is listed on the TCM channel at the 6pm time slot. On Optimum cable in NYC it's channel 41.

It's repeated Saturday, 12/26, at 1:30pm on the IFC channel, which is channel 83 as referenced above.

Worth watching. A 1945 Christmas classic.  Enjoy.

This is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies. Such wonderful actors in this movie.  Dennis Morgan was so handsome.  I live in CT and the scenes were so realistic but the movie was filmed in Los Angeles, if I remember correctly. I like the original black and white version best.  They certainly don't make movies like this anymore and with so many talented actors.

Anyone ever seen the C in C directed by Arnold? It's not good.

A favorite of my daughter and I. We've watched it again and again. One of my favorite scenes is when Dennis Morgan asks Barbara Stanwyck if he can bathe the baby and she says, "Oh well, if you're real careful".

I'll watch it Saturday, missed it due to family calls

The remake, if I recall, was with Dyan Cannon.  The remakes are never as good as the originals.  Give me the original classics any day.  Most times I just want a movie that makes me feel good and Christmas in Connecticut is one of them.
