George Clooney was on a lot of shows before he struck gold on ER. He was on E/R a comedy with Elliot Gould, The Facts Of Life, Roseanne the first season playing Booker Roseanne and Jackie' boss, Baby Talk based on Look Who's Talking, Bodies Of Evidence crime show, Sisters played Teddi's boyfriend, and finally ER. I guess it pays to hang in there!

I love the actor but didn't care for the show at all. Yes, poorly written & its a shame Slater took that role because its the actor who usually is blamed for the fail & hurts their chances of getting a new show. I would love to see him in a more comical role with an edge which he does best.
