Another tedious day of not much to spoil or update. The houseguests are largely just lying around and killing time these days. Nicole varies from "I can't beat Cody in the final two," to "I'll crush Cody in the final two." Christmas is still trying to convince Nicole to use the POV, but there are no, zero, zip, zilch, nada indications that Nicole will use the POV.
Memphis is clearly the target this week. Christmas now seems to be the target next week, though that could easily switch to Enzo. Enzo and Christmas will likely be the nominees unless one of them wins HOH. Who goes home next week will be determined by the POV winner. Cody is convinced he can get in the head of Christmas and force her to lose both the HOH and POV.
The POV meeting will take place today and the POV won't be used. (Barring a massive surprise.) Then the house will go on with each Memphis and Christmas thinking they're safe this week, but only Christmas truly is. Memphis is still convinced his final three partners of Cody and Enzo will keep him over Christmas. Uh, no.
It's Monday night, so we have a show tonight! Yes, our Sunday night show is now our Monday night show. And what a show it'll be. We'll see the end of the epic HOH comp where Nicole's slow but steady approach won the day. It wasn't an especially dramatic or close finish as Nicole was a distant third then Memphis lost a couple of pumpkins without realizing it and Christmas thought Memphis was about to beat her and sped up knocking a pumpkin off and both had to start all over again. Enzo was Enzo and I believe still finished in last place.
Then we'll see the tension and speculation as to who to nominate. (There was none. It was going to be Memphis and Christmas. The poor editors have a hard time making this show seem dramatic when everything is pretty much pre-ordained.) The show will conclude with the shock and awe of the nominees who both knew they were being nominated.
The next fun thing will be seeing Julie interview Memphis on Thursday when she tells him he was running the whole house this year. He'll be like, "I was? What show were you watching?" Our next, or for that matter only real shot at drama will be the POV on Saturday. A Christmas win of POV is our last real chance to upset the outcome a teeny bit. Cody or Nicole winning it would just be more of the same stuff we've seen all season. An Enzo win of POV might be interesting, but Enzo would likely do whatever Cody told him to do.
The good news is you don't have to be glued to the feeds every minute for fear of mssing anything. About all you miss is someone rolling over and facing a different direction. It'll be interesting to see if the rumors of a Celebrity BB hold true or not. The ratings for BB have been pretty good with it winning most nights, so they could dust off the celebrity version once more.
