10/02/20 Big Brother 22 Live Feed Spoilers and Updates!!!

And we have yet another new HOH and the bad news for those of us who wished to see the big alliance fractured is that the new HOH is Cody. This was a comp Christmas had to win, but she didn't. Now Christmas or Tyler will almost certainly be heading to the jury on Thursday. (The folks at HOH Baskets R Us had to add an extra shift due to the sudden demand in new HOH baskets. In just a few hours they had orders for baskets for Memphis, Tyler, and now Cody. They've never seen a sudden rush of orders like this before.)

With Cody as the new HOH Nicole can breathe easier as Cody won't nominate her. Though she's really annoyed that Enzo made her the lone Have Not. In a desperate attempt to limit the whining, Christmas has agreed to sleep in the HOH with Nicole so she won't be too scared. I'm not sure what Nicole would be scared of, but her Whinyness was saying she'd be too scared to sleep alone.

So, we kill time today until the nominations come out and to no one's surprise, they'll be Tyler and Christmas with Christmas the early target. Big talker Enzo could have helped prevent this by voting out Nicole in the first vote last night and then David, Enzo, Tyler, and Christmas could have united to bump off Cody, but no. Enzo seems to be part of the group dragging Cody to the end so he can get his half-million dollars. Enzo talks a big game, "I'm going to shake up the house," "It's time to make a big move," but then does nothing.

At this point I don't see anyone beating Cody in the final two, so they've got to get rid of Cody, but they don't seem overly interested in doing so. The opportunity was there yesterday. Enzo just had to vote to evict Nicole instead of David and instead, he voted out David. Ah well, it is what it is.

We have the POV tomorrow where a Christmas win of the POV could shake things up a bit. It would force Cody to put up Nicole, Enzo, or Memphis as a replacement. Christmas would just need one more vote to keep Tyler safe and vote out whoever the "pawn" was. The problem is in getting that one extra vote. If Nicole is the pawn it might be doable. Memphis isn't the biggest Nicole fan in the world and neither is Enzo. Technically Memphis is in an alliance with Christmas (though it's mostly fake.) That fake alliance could start looking better to Memphis though. Having Christmas and Tyler with Memphis going against Enzo in the HOH with Cody and Enzo as the nominees, might look pretty good to Memphis. Cody can't play in next week's HOH so it would be a good time to target him. Would Memphis do that? Probably not. This feels like a "We must let Cody win" season.

I'll post back later tonight with the nominations, but expect it to be Tyler and Christmas. I don't see Cody pulling the big surprise here. Pretty much everyone is playing to give him the win, so he won't be looking to shake things up. He's got the jury largely in his pocket and the house playing to get him to the final two. It's good to be Cody. At least for now.

Boo.  Just boo.  They might as well write the check to Cody and let us all get on with our lives.  This season has been a big waste of time and the only  bright spot are Gardenman's recaps.

It's hard to see a way Cody doesn't make the top three now and probably wins. Memphis, Enzo, and Nicole all think they have a solid final two with Cody so they're unlikely to vote him out. That just leaves us with Christmas and Tyler and one of those two is likely leaving this week.

If people look to jury votes and try to figure out how the jury will vote then Cody will argue that he put a lot of them there and they won't vote for him. (They probably will.) It's good to be Cody right now.

They had a shot at taking him out yesterday, but Enzo would have had to vote out Nicole and keep David. That one vote going from the Tyler/Christmas side in David pretty much guarantees Cody a final three spot. Had they kept David and had Cody and Daniele up against one another on Tyler's HOH, Christmas and David could have voted to evict Cody and at worst forced a tie vote (Christmas/David vs Enzo/Memphis) that Tyler could have broken and Cody would have been gone. We'd have Daniele still in the game but she's less of a threat to win.

We don't know who came in second in the HOH last night, but Cody couldn't have won if he wasn't there. If Memphis or Enzo won Tyler and Christmas could still be in the position they're in now, but they'd have had a better chance of avoiding that with Cody gone. "Big move" Enzo failed to make the big move when it could have flipped the house.

Re: 10/02/20 Big Brother 22 Live Feed Spoilers and Updates!!!

Judging from the online comments about Enzo's lack of gameplay last night, his chances of winning America's Favorite Player among true fans of the show is now about zero. If/when he looks back on this season his vote last night might just haunt him for quite a while. It wasn't as stupid as Cody's taking Derrick over Victoria, but it's up there.

If he wasn't always talking about making a big move and shaking up the house it wouldn't have been so bad, but with all the talk of making a big move, and then flopping, it's not so good for Enzo. He could still win the whole thing, but the path just got a lot harder and he paved the road himself. Keeping Cody's real number two over David only makes Enzo's place in the house more tenuous. If he'd taken out Nicole, justifiable by saying, "Yo! She's won once before. I'd be stupid to take her to the end." He could have moved up into a closer relationship with Cody or played a role in overthrowing Cody. Now he's still third (or so) in Cody's hierarchy and Nicole is still Cody's preferred final two choice.

Christmas and Tyler pretty much said, "It's win or go home time," and Enzo wimped out. He kept a strong duo (past winner and second-place finisher) in the game instead of a brain dead lump in David. Not necessarily the smartest move by Enzo.

What was wrong with Nicole last night? She was always laying her head down almost like she was ill during the comps

Nicole suffers from multiple conditions. She has whinynitis, selfpityitis, howdaretheynominatemeitis, christmasenvyitis, and much, much more.

The nominations are taking place as I type this, but everyone knows the nominees will be Tyler and Christmas. Even Tyler and Christmas know they'll be the nominees. The POV tomorrow will be big for them. If one of the nominees wins, Cody will be forced to put up one of his three final two partners in Nicole, Enzo, or Memphis. That could alert that final two partner that they're not really Cody's favorite final two partner.

Tyler and Christmas are the nominees. Christmas told Enzo that if she wins POV she won't use it as she trusts the house to vote out Tyler instead of her and that way Cody won't have to nominate anyone else. Uh, sure. That's a really good strategy last used by Marcellas. He's often referred to as the dumbest BB player ever because of that move.
