In a surprising twist, Brittany has decided to play Big Brother. She has emerged from the land of "I don't know what I'm doing and I'm making a mess of things," to making sense and executing a sound strategic move. Who knew that was possible with her?
Brittany has now more or less convinced her alliance of the Leftovers to not use the POV, to keep the nominations the same, and to vote out Alyssa. This will then have Indy join Michael and Brittany, so each duo in the Leftovers will have some protection with an expendable member. It's a smart move. It's sound, strategic, and hard for the rest of the Leftovers to argue against without alienating Michael/Brittany.
It gives Michael and Brittany an extra ally in Indy. And that trio isn't a top-tier target. It buys them some insurance in case anyone does nominate them. As a trio, they have more power down the road. It also gives the three the power to move to the Nicole/Daniel side if it helps them later. The Leftovers can't really argue against it all that easily as they all have insurance in an expendable partner. Nicole is a bigger threat, but they'll still have the power to pick who goes and can protect the Leftovers even if Nicole wins HOH.
The only real threat to the Leftovers then would be if Daniel and Nicole won back-to-back HOHs. Will Kyle go along with the move? (He's been left out of the discussion so far as he cuddles with Alyssa downstairs.) It's making things a bit more interesting. If the Leftovers don't go for the plan, then it should make clear to Michael and Brittany that they're at the bottom of the Leftovers.
We'll have to see what happens later, but Brittany is making a move. Their trio would be among the least targeted of trios. Nicole, Daniel, Monte, Joe, Kyle, Taylor, and Turner would all arguably be bigger targets. It's a smart move by Brittany.
Joe is a bit against the move, with good reason, but it's a hard move to argue against without potentially alienating the Michael/Brittany duo who they still need for votes. We'll have to see what happens when the POV meeting takes place later today.
Either Alyssa or Nicole will be a goner on Thursday. We'll find out which one later today when/if the POV gets used.

Things can change so fast in this game. That is what makes it fun and interesting to watch...Some years where you know exactly how the game will go with no surprises, I usually stop watching and just read your daily updates. I don't know if it is just me but I am enjoying this season more than most.

They cast some good players this year who know the game. That helps. BB often gets too caught up in casting "types" instead of players. This year Ameerah, Monte, Kyle, Michael, Brittany, Daniel, Nicole, and Joseph came to play Big Brother. They know the game moderately well anyway and are playing well overall.
If the flip happens today and the noms stay the same, Kyle and Monte will be a bit exposed. Monte assured Indy and Alyssa they weren't the targets. If they stay on the block Indy will know not to trust Monte. Kyle has the power to flip the noms and if he doesn't, then much of the house will know they can't trust Kyle. It's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.
It would be fun to see a season where they got all very good players in the house at once. You would think that would happen on All-Stars, but they filled All-Stars with David, Da'Vonne, Enzo, etc. and everyone ended up playing for Cody to win.

As much as I dislike Nicole and this move will save her for another week- possibly two if she or Daniel win hoh--she's still on her way out soon so if it helps Michael I'm all for it. If they vote out Alyssa the next hurdle for Micahel/Brittany will be to get Indy to choose them as her besties. She's fine with Michael but she hates Brittany so they will need to stroke her ego a bit which is Indy's kryptonite. She's always fishing for compliments so Brittany just needs to warm her up a bit.
I agree we have some players who came to play and happily they've all been on the side of the Leftovers with the possible exception of Satan, er, I mean Daniel. Since he has zero equity in the game it's fun to watch him figure things out and be powerless to stop it.
It's good that we have these little changes to keep us going because as we all know the steamroll that's taking place is going to get monotonous. Haha, jk, it's glorious watching "the other side" go home one by one by one! I'm looking forward to the day of reckoning when some of the players, especially Daniel and Nicole, are faced with how much the audience is disgusted by them.
The only person I see this being a negative for is Kyle since he could be losing his sheep in the game which strengthens Michael and Brittany. That's one vote in jury down for Kyle should he be in F2. He is so good at playing the goofy, naive, non-gamer that it would be interesting to see him try to sell this scenario to Alyssa. Luckily, like the rest of the girls from her group she's not the sharpest tool in the shed and who knows...maybe her hormones are strong enough to forgive our big ol' puppy dog, Kyle. Either way, once she figures out she's in danger it should be quite entertaining.

Well, that's interesting. Daniel used the POV on Indy and Alyssa and now Nicole and Taylor are on the block. That means Nicole is likely going home on Thursday. Daniel got suspicious because Monte wanted him not to use the POV, so Daniel assumed that meant that Monte had counted the votes and knew that he didn't have the votes to keep Taylor. So, to Daniel, the smart move was to use the POV and save the girls to get out Taylor. Uh, no. Nicole and Daniel are very happy that they outsmarted Monte. Yeah, about that...

Oh my, the feeds are absolutely delicious right now and I mean that in more ways than one. I have no fresh fruit in the house and I was so jealous watching Kyle eating an orange. I need to go shopping!
But back to the feeds...Nicole and Daniel are such clowns and I'm having so much fun watching their little circus act. They really think they outsmarted Monte! How poetic is it that Daniel is the one responsible for getting Nicole out? I have no words to describe how beautiful that is. The only thing better would be to have Taylor win hoh and put up Daniel. Not that it matters, either way his days are numbered. I'd just love to see Taylor be the one to do it.
I do wish Michael and Brittany had the extra protection of having Indy in their group but they're likely to be fine. There was no way to assure she would joining them anyway.
I sure wouldn't want to be one of the players in front of this steamroll but it's definitely one I'm happy to be behind!

The big question now is where does Taylor land after Nicole goes? With Alyssa and Indy? She'd prefer Michael and Brittany as partners, but then all three would be Leftovers and with Taylor still a target for the non-Leftovers, things could get messy. Strategically joining Alyssa and Indy makes sense, but they have no real connection.

Wow I did not see that coming. I am just waiting for that eviction. I feel so ahead of the actual shows.

How can Nicole and Daniel be so sure Taylor will be the one voted out after the Ameera blindside? Seems an unnecessary risk, since, even if Taylor leaves, it won't help them much. They would have a better chance winning HOH against Taylor than Alissa.

That depends on how the bestie twist plays out. It's possible that they tell her to choose one of the trio--Joseph, Monte, or Terrance--so they would be back to duos again in which case she'd choose Terrance. If they continue what they did last week I'd expect her to choose Alyssa/Indy. She could basically be safe with any duo other than Michael/Brittany. She is close with Michael/Brittany but gamewise they'd be her last choice.
It's not like the duos need to have a connection, in fact, the only connection they want is to be on opposite sides. I mean, look who Taylor is stuck with presently, lol. Then there's Turner/Jasmine who are about as opposite as two people can be. Kyle and Daniel...not exactly two peas in a pod!
