07/22/2022 Big Brother 24 Live Feed Spoilers and Updates!!!

Alas poor Pooch, he did himself in. You never volunteer to be the pawn as the pawn always goes home. The vote was unanimous, twelve to nothing, to evict the Pooch. Turner has vowed to get vengeance against whoever turned the house on Pooch! (Well, that will be tricky as it was Pooch who turned the house on Pooch, and he's gone.)

So, with Pooch erased from our memory things turned to a new twist and the HOH comp. The new twist is the Bestie Festie twist (or something like that) where each houseguest is now paired with another houseguest. Sadly, BB let them pick their partners so those in the bigger alliances largely paired up with someone outside the bigger alliance knowing if they were both on the block, they'd be safe. A random pairing like they do in "The Challenge" would have been far more interesting.

Our Bestie Festie pairs are Turner and Jasmine, Alyssa/Indy, Joseph/Monte, Brittany/Michael, Nicole/Taylor, Ameerah/Terrance, and Daniel/Kyle. They may be able to pick a new partner each week, we don't know. We don't even know how they picked in which order to pick a partner. Could a partner refuse a pairing? Who knows?

The HOH comp sounds confusing. There were lighters they held up (maybe?) They had to go on a signal from the screen and could get eliminated for a false start. (A few were eliminated in just that manner.) There were also chairs involved in some manner. There was a handle on something that Kyle broke. It all sounds very confusing. Whatever it was, Turner was determined to win, and he did. That made Turner and Jasmine both safe for the week. Next, they had to pick the Have Not pair for the week. Turner handed that duty to his partner Jasmine who didn't know who to pick and then Indy, who had prayed to the cameras earlier in the day not to be a Have Not, volunteered, so Indy and Alyssa are the reluctant Have Nots this week. (They're the only pair that hadn't both already been Have Nots, so it worked out.)

The Bestie Festie twist sounds like it'll last for a few weeks, so get used to it. A pair will get nominated. That pair will compete for POV. If one of them wins, then both are safe, and a new pair takes their place. (We think. It's all still a bit confusing.) It sounds like only one of the two will get eliminated with their partner then being safe for a week? Maybe until jury? Maybe? Who knows! For this week Turner and Jasmine are perfectly safe as HOH and his partner. (It'll be hard for anyone to nominate Jasmine with her bad ankle. She's a threat to your game? Uh, no. It could turn out to be a very good break for her.)

Who will Turner nominate? That's an interesting question. Turner has a pinkie swear agreement with Brittany to go to the end together. That would imply that Michael and Brittany are safe this week. Pooch and Turner agreed that Joe was the guy who betrayed their top secret all-male alliance "The Oasis" and vowed to get revenge. Joe and Monte as a duo would be a challenge to evict as they're both physical beasts and if the POV had a physical component they'd be likely to win. They might be a better backdoor target. Nicole partnered with Taylor in the belief that Taylor would be a bigger target if they got nominated and that would keep Nicole safe. I would expect either Nicole/Taylor or Michael/Brittany to be the noms but we'll see. I'm not sure either pair would be Turner's real target though.

I'm kind of leaning towards Turner putting up Michael and Brittany in the hope that someone wins POV and they can backdoor the Monte/Joe pair. Turner will probably want Joe gone since he and Pooch think Joe betrayed their alliance. When the two most physical guys in the house pair up, it's a good opportunity to backdoor one of them.

The feeds will be interesting today leading up to the nominations tonight as Turner tries to figure out what's happening and what to do. He doesn't have the best read on the house and Jasmine is convinced she can manipulate him into doing whatever she wants. We'll have to see how it all unwinds. My best guess is Michael and Brittany are the initial noms with the plan to backdoor Joe, but we'll see.

Was there an actual show last night?  Or is this from the feeds?  I'm still at the point in the season where I am confused.

It's all from the live feeds and the houseguests talking among themselves. We have a two-hour show on Sunday where things should be explained more.

@gardenman , have you been able to tell if Pooch got the heads up that he was a gonner prior to it happening?

He clearly had the vibe he was in trouble. Some of his allies told him they were voting with the house and that's always a bad thing to hear.

Turner is planning to put up Brittany and Michael as pawns, then backdoor Nicole. Brittany more or less volunteered them as pawns which has Michael alarmed and annoyed as he meets with Turner. Turner's assuring Michael he'd be safe no matter what. The backdooring Nicole part of his plan is where things fall apart. Nicole may be the most allied player in the house. Getting the votes to evict Nicole would be a challenge. Her partner Taylor would go instead.

Turner's plan after talking to everyone is still to nominate Brittany and Michael initially, then have the POV used to now get out Taylor instead of Nicole. Pretty much everyone he talked to painted bulls-eyes on Brittany and Taylor.

The feeds are back and Michael and Brittany are the nominees, but in Turner's eyes, they're just pawns and his real target is Taylor (or Nicole.) His plan could blow up in multiple ways. Biggest being that pretty much everyone wants Brittany gone.

I'm not sure how official things are just yet, but a report says that the partner of the person voted out this week is safe next week, then will be paired with the partner of whoever gets votes out next week. So, if things go as expected, Michael and Nicole will likely be partners in a couple of weeks.
