Yesterday we saw Angela make her nominations and Kenney, Lisa, and Kimo were the nominees for eviction. Kimo seems the safest of the group with others plotting to vote out Kenney or Lisa. Kimo seems pretty safe for now despite being on the block. None of the nominees took it well. Tears flowed and all were angry and confused as to why they'd been singled out.
Angela has used her power as HOH to make a nine-person alliance consisting of: Angela, Joseph, Cam, Cedric, Chelsie, Brooklyn, Rubina, Leah, and Quinn. There are dozens of other smaller/side alliances floating around too. Leah seems to be in all of them.
It sounds like we'll get two comps of some sort today as the POV takes place, and something called the AI Arena. Both seem to have the ability to save someone. Since Makensy won America's Veto in her earlier comp, the AI Arena could be something where she decides whether to use her veto or not. If she uses the veto then America (the country not last year's houseguest, unless that's the twist) reportedly picks the replacement. She thinks we pick the replacement immediately. That's tricky from a timing perspective, so I'm guessing she got that part wrong.
The AI Arena would pretty much have to air on the Sunday show if we get to pick the replacement. If there was a vote for a replacement on Sunday's show then the new nominee could be announced at or around Monday's POV meeting Monday's. Makensy's power lasts four weeks according to her. We'll learn more about the powers on Sunday's show.
It should be a long day for the houseguests and feed watchers as the feeds will go down for the picking of the POV players, the POV comp, and the AI Arena. These early events take much longer than they do later in the season. Production has to wrangle sixteen houseguests and everyone still cares early in the season with how they look, how they're dressed, and they all take longer as no one truly knows what to do. Later in the season, they stop caring and just show up and get the chores done.
The houseguests held a talent show last night where they pretty much proved they have no talent. Lots of people are reporting to Angela what they've heard/seen in the house to keep her informed. Quinn and Leah seem to be doing most of the reporting so far. At this point pretty much everyone is allied with pretty much everyone else in one way or another. It'll be a while before alliances start to sort themselves out.
In a new twist, the HOH isn't playing in the POV unless picked. Just the three nominees pick players. Since that happens, it appears the AI Arena will take place after the POV comp. If not, then whoever got saved in the AI Arena wouldn't need to pick a player since they were no longer the nominee. We haven't voted for a replacement (as Makensy seems to think we will as America's Veto) there would just be two nominees and two extra POV players. We'll have to see how all of these new twists play out.
I don't love or hate anyone just yet in the game. Angela is a bit much, but that happens with a lot of HOH holders. I'll have to see how she acts next week. I'm liking T'kor and Joseph more than I thought I would. Makensy has her funny moments. They were joking around in the storage room and someone said to act natural, so she hopped on the table there and posed in the most unnatural way possible getting a good laugh from everyone there. She has potential to be a favorite.
I'll post back later once we know who the POV players are and then the POV comp results later. (Likely much later.) These early season events take forever. Way back in BB seven they left the feeds up one day as the houseguests prepared for a comp and just getting everyone to the door to go out took forever. Someone would want a different blouse, someone else would feel the need to fix their hair or use the bathroom. While they were doing that someone else would sneak to the kitchen for a drink. It was almost forty-five minutes from the time they were called to go out before they finally left the house. Getting all sixteen ready to go at once is a challenge. Later in the season, it's much more of a "come as you are" type event.

I'd like to see Kenny stay in the game.

Angela is seriously stressing this morning when she should be sleeping. She's seeing alliances everywhere and is trying to play out the whole season in week one. Not a good week for her despite winning HOH. She'll be fun to watch when she's not in power. I don't think she'll take being nominated well.

Looks like a lot of people on other boards are already exhausted with Angela (aka "Mrs Doubtfire" "Geriatric Franzel" lol), especially with all the crying and paranoia. MOO it never works out when anyone plays at 500% gamer mode at the very beginning.
Also saw that Kenney is claiming his occupation is a "salon owner/hairdresser" to the others?

Kenney is so obviously a cop that he might as well admit it. No one will be shocked to hear he's a cop when the truth comes out. If you went to central casting at CBS and said, "We want a cop for a show," they'd send someone who looks/acts like Kenney. As an undercover cop, he stands out like a sore thumb. Just tell the truth.

An absurdly early wake-up call this morning for the house. Rise and shine at seven (PT.)

Angela's having a breakdown on the stairs as I type this. She's not hanging around for long. She's clearly not on her rocker. She's likely heading to being removed. Her mental state is screwy.

Angela and Matt are still going at it. The nice men in the white coats with the big butterfly nets will be coming for Angela soon. She's losing it. Well, maybe lost it. Most of the houseguests just look confused and lost as Angela and Matt go after one another. Our first, informal, unplanned house meeting and a fun one. Angela calls Matt "Crazy eyes." This is a pretty volatile house now. A fun start to the feeds today.

I think it's safe to say we now know which Angela inspired Helen Reddy's song "Angie Baby ". This Angie is "living in a world of make believe" as was the character in the song. She's cray-cray.

I don't get the feeds and I am wondering if any of you know why Kenney was nominated. Is it because they all know he's a cop and/or because he is older? Was thinking he and Angela might team up together as the "mature" ones.
He seems nice and him being from Massachusetts makes me root for him.
