Insanity reigns in the BB 24 hours. Yesterday we saw a POV comp that sounds very confusing with balls, pearls, beads, holes, water, and more. It was a very closely fought comp with multiple people nearly winning it, but Michael pulled out the win. With Michael as the POV holder and probably not using it, things should be nice and calm in the old BB 24 house, right? Uh, no.
Pooch, who foolishly volunteered to be a pawn assuming he'd be safe, started counting votes and realized he might not be as safe as he thought he'd be. (Well, duh!) This created a certain amount of panic in him. (Not enough to ruffle his heavily greased hair, but it was close.) Instead of everyone sticking to the plan and giving Pooch the boot this week, new plans started to emerge from every corner.
Talk soon emerged of taking down Taylor and putting up another strong guy with Joe, Turner, and Monte being mentioned a lot. Indy is behind wanting Joe out as she's learned that he's targeting her if he wins HOH. Jasmine thinks of Joe as her little brother though and wants to keep him. Putting up Turner takes away a vote for Pooch making it more likely Pooch goes. (But they should have the votes to get rid of Pooch anyway.) The girls have figured out they can't trust Monte, (he's determined Taylor should go this week) so he's also a possible target. Indy has wanted a final two with Monte, so Indy is also a possible target now.
This is a chaotic house this year. Everything went perfectly for them yesterday with Michael winning POV and they're still in chaos. "Make a plan and stick to the plan!" Nope. Not this group. Taylor is lying low and more or less on cruise control assuming she's safe this week and she probably is. Though that could all change. (She's cut back on the posing and other nonsense which has moved her back into the background more. She's now behaving more like a normal hamster.)
Kyle wants to keep Pooch as he's the "village idiot" and will be a target ahead of the rest of the guys if he's there. The old "keep a bigger target in the house" plan that the girls are also using with Taylor. They don't love Taylor, but they know the guys are gunning for her, so keep Taylor for the boys to pick off. Pooch and Taylor now find themselves in the cannon fodder category of BB player. Not great, but there are worse places to be.
Brittany continues to tell the wrong people the wrong thing at the wrong time and is shortening her time in the game with every statement. She assured Turner that Michael would use the POV and an even bigger target than Pooch would go up and out. Uh, no. Brittany knows she keeps getting herself into trouble and she just can't help herself.
They should get the yard back today and that will give everyone some time to decompress a bit. Michael will probably not use the POV tomorrow and then things should stabilize even more. As of now, Pooch is still a goner. There will be lots of chatter about alternatives, but much of it will be just that, chatter. Someone could say or do something stupid enough to change things, but for now, Pooch is on his way out the door.
