shipping and handling

Why doesn't QVC offer free shipping and handling like some other big online retailers. I would purchase so much more from them, but don't because if it needs to be returned, it's usually about 14 extra dollars. Too much for me.

Some products are marked free shipping. You could also shop at HSN where they have a shipping & handling fee of from 2.99 to 3.95 on clearance jewelry under 25.00. QVC's rate is 4.47 - 4.97 for similar pieces. I always thought HSN had lower shipping and handling.

I just ordered something from Duluth Trading that had been sold out at Christmas. Obviously they got a return but I really want it. The shipping promotions are over to my knowledge and I paid 11.95. QVC doesn't seem so bad, now, does it?

No..................their shipping and handling is bad. I bought a Mally mascara and the s/h was over $5. Sometimes I think I am on Ebay. I realize that other places may be higher, but I always check out that s/h before buying anything. Wish QVC would offer more free s/h even if it's only on smaller items.
