What do you think we get....the same as you do on the Plus....

I agree they don't seem to use plus very effectively. You'd think when they had something on Q, like computers or mattresses, they do the opposite and have something more appealing to the women shoppers like clothing or jewelry on plus. On my satellite (Direct TV), EVINE is right between them and that's where I often land.

QVC Plus is a failure as I see it. They show just a few Live shows there, and the rest is all repeats. Even the programming for Plus shows poor programming with the same shows on at the same time.
The Q gets a good idea and then drops the ball. Are there no creative people at the Q? It looks like the Q has the money to start the idea, but no talent to follow through with it.

I agree -- people who watxh QVC or QVC plus are not stupid. That means, of course, that they don't watch a shopping channel hour after hour --especially once they've already seen whatever is being offered. They use that intelligence to find something else to watch or, if able, to do.
As for whether, QVC is a business success or failure --not my job. They have computers and accountants at QVC and can figure that out for themselves. I wish them success, but it will come from someone else; first because right now, I have nothing on my wish list until I finish paying for the items already on my EZPay calendar and then because I have no idea where QVC Plus is found. Couldn't watch it if I wanted to.

If what is being shown on QVCPlus is a recorded show, it is stated right on the screen. QVC doesn't try to pass off what is being shown as live programming and treat customers like they are stupid.
There are live shows and you will know they are live.
HSN also has HSN2 that is repeated programming.
I have personally never seen QVC show the same thing on both channels. Many times, they are a program off. So for instance, if David's kitchen show is on from 12-3 on QVC, it will air on Q+ from 3-6. Many times the guide is off on Q+ and it will show the same programming on both channels but if you actually put Q+ on, it's not the same.
I thought the point of Q+ was to allow people to see shows that they didn't catch on QVC. I don't really see why they would need 2 channels both running live programming 24/7.

I watch QVC Plus once in a while. But on our Direct TV, the program title in the guide is quite often different than what is being shown. So I always have to go to the channel directly to see what they are selling. I don't know if that is because they are switching up the shows at the last minuite, or what.

I agree. They have another channel to lure customers who may not like what's on the Q but they don't utilize it properly.

I've seen Garden shows both on the same time and others. My understanding of QVC Plus was that it was going to be the Fashion channel. Now, the Q just has two channels both showing the same boring things. Nothing new on either of them.

Exactly, @Buckaroo2. What a great idea to increase sales! Just like the Q's Lunchtime Special. Great idea if someone cared enough to make ti really something SPECIAL.
