The "Going.....going....." popup message that appears when you are looking at an item is extremely annoying.  It is not mobile device friendly.  You must scroll around it to read text or view images.  As well, you can't close the popup because there is a timeout applied that restricts you from closing it.  This popup message is actually discouraging me from making a purchase instead of pursuing one.

You can get rid of the pop up ads/messages yourself by installing an "ad blocker."

Also, go into your browsers Preferences & make sure you enable the "block pop up ads" or something similar option.

Seems to me that customers shouldn't have to change settings and install apps just to make a vendor's site user friendly.

@LdyBugz  I'm surprised because ad blockers work.  The best one on the market for years is Adblock Plus and it's FREE!

I agree but it's the price you pay for using their website as well as using the internet in general.

I don't like the drop down one across the top that blocks 'Shop QVC' which leads to  Recently on air, program guide, etc. 

I believe it's called 'Shop QVC' and it's often blocked all across the top.
